As in red ball a 50 average is the benchmark. And only 2 batmen can claim such achievement. Pooran is not one of them.

And the same goes for the bowlers. An Average below 25.

So this begs the question. Why is it that the majority of T20 runs when the field is restricted?

T20 is a fast form of cricket, with 120 balls.
The West Indies style is based on Power-hitting, that why fans like you will jump and wave in one match and cuss players the next set of matches.
Why are there so many dot balls?
Are you aware that opening a bat face is a key factor in getting the ball into gaps, and no risk is needed?

Dynamic.....

Cricket has changed over the years.....

First..Rules & Regulations....then
Formats...Test ...ODI...T20...T10...

Very few can excel in all formats....But to excel ODI...T20..T10....players must play red ball cricket...red ball cricket is basic rule book of cricket...

We say West Indies has great white ball cricketers but the results in white ball international since 2019.....says something else....

Be that as it may.....All three formats can have greats...
But , the player, who excel in red ball gets the cherry & name in cricket history....rest also ran.....

Michael Bevan is an example....how many present generation knows him.....
Surely, knows Steve Waugh....his tussle with Ambi ..his world cup heroics ...

Virender Sehwag, is the inventor of strokes in the t20 format.
Glenn Maxwell bring every shot from the golf course to the white ball format.

These two I admire, West Indies batsman rely on power, which is risky, and create a number of dot balls.
