Green is a Dunce!

A lot of folks getting called dunce so we cant leave out Green. Dunce not just for bowling 2 spinners in last 2 overs but one spinner who does not have the height or guile to provide the variation needed and the other who does not spin the ball. Yes, ball was turning but the same tackiness that get turn for spinners will help pacers with change of pace with an old ball at the death

Shiv and Ambi get it wrong I believe. King is the best captain in the region. I believe he also the most educated.

Shiv and Ambi? Isnt that a captain's call. You suggesting bowling spinners at depth was pre-planned?

He meant they should have made King captain.

Whoever is responsible for promoting Green ahead of Fabien Allen, Wasim or Primus need reprimanding. I believe that would be Greens decision.

Point taken. I would agree that unless the overseas player is an accomplished captain for his own national team, or least at first class level, the captain should be selected from the region

Do any of you guys actually watch, read or listen? King is the appointed Captain of the Falcons. However, he has been injured since the World Cup and therfore Green was appointed Captain in his absence. King eventually played the last game under Green. What is the issue? Green has also captained the Amazon Warriors and has played for quite a few years. He understands the conditions and knows the players. The conditions dictated that the spinners made no sense. That is a cricketing decision, based on pitch conditions
