The challenge for the Vice President and Democrats is to turn out the vote. The construct of the Electoral College is such that it favours Repubs.

The Democrats have a much stronger ground game and as compared to 2020 they have more pesos to flood the swing states with ads and ground personnel. It is their elections to lose. But as we know in politics " a day is a long time."

Republicans have come to the conclusion that they can only win elections (statewide & presidential) if they suppress the vote. Others they simply gerrymander

They have surmised that they will almost always get a certain amount of votes so they must stop people from voting for other side by implementing all kinds of restrictions to solve made up issues or issues that have little impact on the outcome

Imagine getting rid of voting stations in certain areas and then enacting laws whereby people standing in line to vote cannot be given water!!!

Dude I did view the debate after attending CPL cricket. That issue was of no relevance to me because it has no bearing on what I see as important. Why? Mainly because of the dishonest attempts and lies coming from the left on anything to do with Trump. I choose to focus on more salient matters.

Folks, I would like to share some information which will be useful to persons interested in the US elections:

A website Targetsmart.com will be operational before the end of this week. It will provide voter registration data and you can do your own analyses using the dasboard. I will provide a link to the website when it becomes operational.

So far we have seen data on increased enthusiasm for democratic voters. This translates to more money, more election workers on the ground, more ads.

We are also seeing the "Harris and Taylor Swift effect:" more young voter registration; more women voter registration and more voter registration for people of colour.

Elections are around the corner...Courtesy is back.
