Tahir captaincy and lance klusener coaching and their team selection is the reason why guyana amazon warriors winning for the past 2 yrs.

reon griffith was clueless as a coach and selector and he did not like Motie, he use to play the sinclairs guys before Motie even though they were winning with Motie in the team.

Heymeyer captaincy was no good too.

Tahir is the best captain and Klunener is the best coach.

One of the best decisions they made was to get Johnson on board... the guy responsible for the younger overseas talents joining.

Also, Tahir is not the only leader in that squad. Most times Shai Hope takes over on the field. Same Hety and other senior players make inputs as well.

Yes. Griffith was head coach for 2 years. 2021 and 2022.

Then they went 4 win and 1 lost with motie playing and they dropped motie for the semi final and play kevin sinclair.

Tahir took over the captaincy last year
Hetty was captain in 2022 and pooran was captain in 2021.

The klusenser and Tahir combo I like. I was not a fan of Griffith as head coach.

Griffith is good as an assistant coach not a head coach.

The senior players like hope and hetty are helping Tahir out as well. Tahir had no captaincy experience prior to this.

Also Leon Johnson became manager last year as well too.

The head coach in 2020 was Botha. Skipper was Green.

The reason why Nedd was in the squad then is because he was one of the U23 players same for Sinclair... you really special aren't you?

I agree with Jeremy, as a Trini I always wanted to know why Motie got that treatment,I would go for Motie before those others mentioned.Now we know that Motie is the best.Keep going GM show dem.

Although there is a possibility that your statement is correct,
there are other nuances that may have lead to the success.

Here are some: -
Batting:
13 batsmen scored over 200 runs
Warriors had 4 of them, including the top 2.

Bowling:
15 bowlers took over 10 wickets
Warriors had 4, including the top 2

Fielding:
13 fielders took over 5 catches.
Warriors had 3 of them

Wicketkeeping:
Only 1 keeper had 10 dismissals,
Guest which team; Warriors

Other possibilities:
1. The owner is Guyana (I believe).
2. The president (Mr. Ali) hang with the team and entertained them.
3. There was lots of runs at the top of the innings.
There was plenty of energy in the field

Hope was the x-factor.
He inspired urgency running between the wickets.
He was clearly the leader in the field.
I remember an incident when Chadwick Walton and Dwaine Pretorius collided midpitch
Dwaine Pretorius took offence and headed towards Walton in an aggressive manner.
Hope ran up from the sips and spoke to Pretorius,
he was clapping his hand and whatever he said, Pretorius walked away
Hope ended what was probably going to be a cut ass for Pretorius

Anyway, Mudland is my team and I want a repeat this year.
TnT are always challengers, but we just have to contain Pooran.
I want a TnT / Warriors finals.
Best case scenario for me, Pooran and Hope both score centuries.
Mootie and Hosein both take 5-fas

Yes it was the 2021 season. check the scorecard.

kevin sinclair played the 1st 6 games, guyana was 1 win and 5 losses.

Then motie played the next 5 games, guyana was 4 win and 1 loss, Motie had a big impact on those wins and they make the playoff.

But griffith dropped Motie for the semi final and bring back sinclair and guyana lost the semi.

The reason why they went with Sinclair ahead of Motie for the semi is because the Patriots had Gayle, Lewis and Rutherford in their lineup.

Sinclair played and he was the best bowler for the Warriors... so why is your point exactly? You trying to say despite having the best figures on the night he's the reason they lost?

Make picking Reifer make sense. He is the worse T20 franchise player I’ve ever seen. How can u go at approx 80 SR when ur team needed about 14-15 RO when u came to the crease.
