Im ignoring your sell out nonsense but joining with you in disappointment that Shamar was not trusted with the final over. Shamar is a big game player. I feel somehow he would have stepped up. But even if he didn't this exposure is so important to his development.

I'm also pissed that young Nyeem Young, another big game player is not being given the opportunity to perform and develop, no doubt because Royals want the 5 overseas players. But the team is unbalanced without his allround ability...... tail too long and no obvious death bowler. Cant wait for a regional T20 tournament to kick off to allow the next generation to develop.

There were a few things why GAW lost that match!
1. They didn’t understand the conditions and failed to adjust. There was little to no lateral movement, thus the spinners were ineffective. Conversely, GAW batters showed too much respect for Narine and should have attacked him on the front foot.
2. Hope decisions weren’t the best.
3. Holder troubled Hope from the very beginning with his back of length deliveries and bounce and eventually got his wicket.
4. Hetty tried valiantly to get the run rate up but that involved a lot of risk and eventually perished.
