trinidad, chris gayle and dre rus have carried the cpl as far as they could. i seriously doubt hetmeyer and co have the consistency to maintain the standard of the product

Sooner than later the tournament will be without some.of its stalwarts

Narine
Russell
Pollard
Bravo

Who will rise up?

Pooran is yet to dominate the cpl
Hetmyer needs to step up
Shepherd
Motie

Who are the locals from elsewhere that fans will fall over to go watch

this is why ppl were at pains to tell cwi don't give cpl a 50 year deal. i dunno but like west indians love parasites. pooran is nowhere near as consistent as he should be and as a result, he can't carry the tournament

Rakheem 'Jimbo' Cornwall lol

On a serious note nothing coming through.. hopefully the regional t20 next year changes that.

Look at the wrist spinners department... cupboard empty. All of the franchises opting for overseas wrist spinners. None of them are willing to give a local wrist spinner a chance.

In the regional U19 tournament almost each team had one.

Here are a few that I think are worth working with..

1. Micah McKenzie from LI
2. Zishan Motara from Bim
3. Tamarie Redwood from Jam

tbh ever since bajans was bigging up kraigg and the next big thing in wi cricket round 08/09, im very skeptical about any young west indian player who ppl talk about. nobody was talking about shamar, but from the first time i saw him bowl vs tkr in the 2nd round of last year's cpl, i said that boy was a star. my dad said the exact same thing and i strongly suspect the tkr men thought so too because pollard, dre rus and bravo were pictured speaking to him one to one after the game

The CPL doesn’t HAVE to exist
When the golden generation done and walk away, we could always go back to regionals
