The ball hit the bat before hit his pad.and ultra edge show it

natty_forever 2024-09-20 01:46:59

In reply to positiveg

And because of that, we now have this.

positiveg 2024-09-20 01:48:29

In reply to natty_forever

Yes and the o ly argument Knight Riders have is that Imad came off the field of play.

TanteMerle 2024-09-20 01:49:21

It's amazing that Bishop and other experienced commentators don't know the rules.

If a player leaves the field he can come back.

I will look up the rule and post it.

natty_forever 2024-09-20 01:49:39

In reply to positiveg

Spoil up a very gripping game.

positiveg 2024-09-20 01:50:29

The umpire mad the error. Ain't he fault they tell him come off the field. Just play the game. Fair is fair

positiveg 2024-09-20 01:50:58

In reply to TanteMerle

Well Alex did say he could come back. She pointed out

TyTy35 2024-09-20 01:51:30

In reply to positiveg

They are right tho he should not be able to come back on the field after he leaves and the new batsman has made his way to the middle.

Yes but the umpire made an error. Was their error for not making the right call. It dine moce on.
Chill and play

natty_forever 2024-09-20 01:54:38

In reply to sgtdjones

He does, but erring on the side of fair play.

natty_forever 2024-09-20 01:55:39

The thing is I needed that wicket. FL.lol

positiveg 2024-09-20 01:57:00

In reply to sgtdjones

Doesn't seem so cause he too like he was siding with Uncle Phil.
Phil knew was a bad call and arguing wrong and strong.

The 2rd umpire made an error then corrected it. The batsman shouldn't suffer. And ain't even matter who I supporting. Right is right

Logic 2024-09-20 01:59:26

Disgracefully weak of the umpires to not make a decision and enforce their will sooner

TanteMerle 2024-09-20 02:01:38

I do not know why all the discussion and argument.

The umpires made a mistake and corrected it.

The worse part is Pollard and Simmons reactions.

I loss respect for them.
Not like I had much respect for Simmons anyway.

sgtdjones 2024-09-20 02:02:36

....TIEF, and more Tief ...against TKR...razz

TanteMerle 2024-09-20 02:04:26

In reply to sgtdjones

Shut de hell up.

Bravo touched the ropes yesterday on the field and the 3rd umpire gave it as a good fielding.

Where were you and your comments then

natty_forever 2024-09-20 02:04:34

In reply to sgtdjones

Pray tell.

TanteMerle 2024-09-20 02:09:45

In reply to sgtdjones

How de hell is it a thief when the correct decision was made in the end.

I remember a batsman going in the pavilion and being recalled in another game.

I will research it and post it here.

TanteMerle 2024-09-20 02:12:18

I said that I remember this

Suck it up.

I could not remember the match, but I knew that I was watching the game when it happened.

There was a great discussion by commentators and even umpire afterwards.

The general understanding is hat the correct decision should be sought.

In the case tonight, the batsman left the field under the mistake that he was out (umpires said he was0.

When they discovered their mistake, they recalled him.

Correct decision.

BYT: I don't support ABF team, just looking at fairness.

Halliwell 2024-09-20 02:18:57

The law now reads: "An umpire shall intervene if satisfied that a batsman, not having been given out, has left the wicket under a misapprehension of being out.

This is my third posts attempt.

The first one was blank and the second disappeared.
I have to resort to copying before posting, so I can edit.

I was aware of the change in the laws, as I followed the game with Stokes live.

At 62 years old, my memory is not the best.

That is why i did the research.

Trni commentators are the best.

Bishop do not go against TnT.

Very insular man.

Bish lost a lot of creds just these past two nights of cricket.

TanteMerle 2024-09-20 02:37:14

In reply to Raskil

If you listen to Bishop you will realize that he is very knowledgeable.
But very biased toward his Trinis.

I am sure that he is aware of the rule as the game hat I mentioned involved Windies.

He is very quiet on mistakes against other opponents.

Biased.

TanteMerle 2024-09-20 02:38:48

That play is reminiscence of the Stokes in the 2019 ODI world cup finals

Ganga just said it as I typed

butler is the tv umpire that messed up.

Guys is no good.

natty_forever 2024-09-20 03:38:31

In hindsight. He should have reviewed the review.

TanteMerle 2024-09-20 04:06:43

In reply to natty_forever

He actually made the signal and the umpires said something to him.

I could not hear obviously.

Let me correct myself.

I just watched the replay and what he was doing
is demonstrating that the ball hit the bat and not making the review sign.

TanteMerle 2024-09-20 04:16:01

Listen to Bias Bishop

It's starts around 2:45 time in on the video.

Bishop is so biased that he said that it clearly :
"Looks like it's gone into the pad".
"It hit the pad first'.

It was clear as day from the first viewing.
One can see a big deflection.
The ball did not even come off an edge, but off the bat face.

The TV umpire was NIGEL DUGUID of Guyana. The third umpire was Butler who had nothing to do with the decision. I guess Duguid is “no good”…

anthonyp 2024-09-20 11:13:32

Pensioners and their bias commentstors trying all how to cheat and win this thing.

De whole TKR setup is questionable...

- With a salary cap in place how could that franchise afford to keep Pollard, Russell, Narine, Pooran, Bravo, Jordan, Roy, Akeal, de afghan spinna and the others. Even Simon Doull was questioning this the other night and the others brushed it off.
- they got a dude who's blatantly flinging, the same dude does ensure his arm is far straighter in other leagues.
- they got 3 bias commentators on their side
- Bravo clearly touched the boundary the other night, Bias commentators quickly brushed it aside. Not a single replay after that.
- Now last night incident... yet some people does wonder why Pollard does get all that hate. The dude is the most arrogant cricketer in the region.
