First, it was "That's what I heard"
Then, after getting slammed for her ignorance, came the "apology", which was not from Janet.
Will the real one ever come?

Janet Jackson "apologizes" to Kamala Harris
Janet Jackson seems to be disconnected from the Afro American community
In reply to Casper
Kamala Harris as Meigan Markle.....only promote themselves as black when convenient...for self interest only.
Its that simple!
In reply to johndom90
I don't think you realize how stupid that sounds
In reply to conman
I don't think he realises how untrue that is!

People used to say that about her brother, MJ, too
Ms. Jackson appears to be as informed as the delusional backroom misfits.
In reply to conman
Apparently Harris has been conveniently promoting herself as black since enrolling in Howard University and pledging a black sorority. "People are saying" that Kamala seriously contemplated changing her last name from Harris to her mother's maiden name, but reconsidered when she realized it would be much easier to promote herself as a black person with the last name Harris

Maybe that is what Bob Marley meant by "Who the cap fit let them wear it"

You only started saying that when Trump told you.
Why would you believe anything Lionel says?
In reply to conman
Janet’s confusion on racial identity continues. She still believes her brother who cosmetically sculpted himself to have Caucasian features is a white woman.
That's not what I heard
I am a little curious about Kamala's black heritage, not wanting to speculate on things "yard" I was hoping that a yardie on cc would elaborate on her dad's proud roots. It's strangely quiet and uncharacteristic so for CC.

Stueps!! Yuh adroitly trying to highlight that her dad is a "Red-man' who can trace his roots back to a white slave-owner. Millions of us Black Caribbean people in part descended from a white ancestor
That occurred either by rape, coercion through power-constuct or union between a poor white indentured worker and a black slave or slave descendant. Hope you weren't expecting a simplistic answer.
True. Many of us have a bit of Irish, Scot or Brit in us. That doesn’t mean we are not African, even if some might want to deny one or the other.
It was recently reported that Janet fired that spokesperson the made that apology, Janet stands by her original opinion
In reply to Brerzerk
It did not even occur to me that Johndoom90 was alluding to the red-man ting. I don't think he's that silly. I think he's referring to the fact that Professor Harris is a Marxist economist who likely shares the same economic and political philosophy with Johndoom90.
