on being coarse, uncouth, corny (as the Americans would say), etc? Repeating, egg baaals, isn't amusing mate. You're an educated bloke...retain a polished demeanor.

I was in GT last weekend for the 2 Barbados v St Lucia games and caught the Guyana v Antigua game as well. My host offered me an egg bawlllllll and I refused because I don't eat egg yoke. But I was surprised when my friend took a bite and there was a whole boiled egg inside the outer shell of the egg bawlllll smile

Man I had some nice Guyanese mauby last weekend and I loved it. Guyanese mauby is very close to Bajan mauby, but the Trini mauby tastes like cough syrup to me. The trinis put some unnecessary flavouring in their mauby.

I was also offered cassava ball. But for some reason I thought there would be scrambled or fried egg inside the egg ball, not a whole egg smile

By the way, we were only able to get seats on the grass mound for the Warriors game Saturday night because the stands were sold out. I saw that silly thread started by Emir about violence on the grass mound at the Royals game. We had a blast on the grass mound and the fans were very friendly. But the way the Guyanese fans celebrated after the win was a different experience for me. A lot of the fans started shaking their beers and spouting beer in the air like a champagne celebration. Needless to say, I got wet up smile

Loved the beef curry, and GT Chinese food was surprisingly good. One of my friends loved the saltfish and bakes

We were actually able to buy the tickets online. They mysteriously became available online Saturday morning during the Royals game. But I'm sure the scalpers made a killing selling tickets for the Warriors games in GT. And another big one coming up tomorrow.

I am not surprised at those ticket prices. We were considering staying longer for the Royals v Warriors on Wednesday and the only tickets available online were VIP tickets that cost $175. If those tickets are sold out for the game tomorrow, $400 for one of them does not seem too crazy.

Paper bag fried rice??? Never heard of that before. But I did learn that GT has bag juice like in Jamaica. I saw someone in GT drinking sorrel out of a plastic bag
