Klushner first recognised that Hety is not just a finisher, as IPL coaches turned him into .....he promoted Hety to no.4.....Hety returned the faith with runs at tremendous strike rate....

This is hallmark of good coaches.... recognising talent ....... Help and support to prosper.....in any sports.... Ferguson vis-a-vis Ronaldo....... Jayasurya vis-a- vis Sri Lanka team.....

On the other hand..... Hety could not get a single game in T20 World Cup......was warming bench while West Indies was kicked out...

Coaches Matters.....

Since he stopped coloring his hair, he's a new avatar.

Klusner could probably get credit for allowing him to bat at #4 but he's not the reason for the recent success of Hety... then again maybe Hety asked to bat at #4.

Here is what Hety got to say about it...

Hety’s problems are of his own making. His immaturity was fully evident in his first ipl season with RCB and he never displayed anything resembling maturity until this season. The first time Pollard and Narine played in the IPL, their teams reached and won the final respectively. When you get an opportunity you have to grab it

it was as a result of his own shortcomings as a young player and the environment he was thrusted into. remember in big idiot's west indies', meritocracy went out the window. they had just exiled their best batsman in darren bravo and had all kinda passengers in the various WI sides. it became so bad that talentless ashley nurse became a regular in the ODI team for about 2-3 years. i guess that experience may have stunted his development as well

it is one of the reason i give credit to the Sammy-led approach to consistency and clarity in the LO setup

players know what is expected, they are picked and backed...that is good for player development

fairness is an important element

i guess they have no choice now as guys have even more options

i don't know about that. bravo was the top scorer in the super 50 last year and he's out in the cold. johnson charles has been exposed so many times by international bowling in the last 6-8 months and he is a member of the team. I think we all recognize that both england and SA sent second string teams to the caribbean last year and prior to the world cup. its inexplicable

if they decided they were not going back then that is consistency and i hope that was communicated to the player

you don't expect it to be perfect but it is clear

that's the problem. the consistency isn't there. charles is a month older than bravo, and kjorn otley was also in the team and is the same age as bravo. And i don't think anybody thinks that ottley is a player of international standard,i mean he could barely make the team when TT had bravo, pollard and co inside. bravo topped the super 50 runs charts, scoring over 400 runs.

yuh hadda remem, ber sammy was a beneficiary of a cwi purging of the team, exiling gayle for over a year and ending ramnaresh sarwan's career. in the back of his mind, maybe he thinks that is hw you manage a team. i do not think anybody thought that they'd see sammy become a test regular for three years much less captain the west indies team.

In reply to doosra I'm doing my best to get down to 160lbs (I know that there's no way I can get to 150lbs)...it's super hard. Weekdays, just an evening meal (did remember what this yardy once told me that we humans can survive on 1 meal a day) & a cup of tea with a pastry. Before my injury & was around 163lbs, I was diving 75 feet, the length of the swimming pool; doing pushups & situps & feeling stronger than I was in my 20s! Fellas, try to get to the weight that you were in your 20s - you will feel really good. Again, the shoite is HARD!

PS. 180lbs, was the max I ever weighed.

Living in America it's almost impossible to lose weight with the amount of BS they put in our food everything we eat is literally sugar!!!

Try eating more protein and less carbs!!! So lash more chicken curry with lil bit rice!!! Also rice is better than roti because of the flour being processed!!!

Try walking after eating dinner or every meal it will help you burn fat as well!!!
