Sri Lanka is enjoying their best year in test cricket since 2006.....while the WI were whitewashed by England, lost to an SA side we really should have pummeled and Pakistan getting sweep from Bangladesh AT HOME with a full strength team. Anybody could shed light on the reasons for this? because right now sri lanka broke and the imf have them under heavy manners?

I said this in light of the fact that Pakistan and WI are the two most vocal boards on the issue of ice funding. Clearly, Sri Lanka has proven that the issue is not as big as it is being made out to be

What's ice funding?

We have been in decline since 1995.

Pakistan and Sri Lanka have the ability to win games, especially at home. Even though Pakistan lost recently to bangaldesh, they are still much stronger than the west indies, all things considered.

Sri Lanka is a team that knows very well how to use their home conditions. For the west indies, we don't even know what favourable home conditions are. If it's spinning tracks in Guyana and Trinidad, we can't beat spin to save our lives and we don't have any serious spinners of note. If it's faster pitches in Bim and Jamaica, again do we have batsnen capable of facing real pace, and who in our line up has a comparable record to fast bowlers in other countries.

Our batting is generally poor, and getting to 250 on batting tracks is considered an achievement for our guys. Who in this team can score 100s. Compare our batsmen with batsmen from Sri Lanka and Pakistan and you'll know what I am saying.
