In reply to voiceofreason

Yeah them man had a bad start yesterday and never really recovered. Their bowlers though did well to make the score kinda good looking at the end there.

In reply to positiveg

That is normally the case. I expect better scores now that the nerves have settled.

Jerrickson how quick is he?

positiveg 2024-09-30 15:02:14

In reply to voiceofreason

Not as quick as his older brother but bowls a good line And you can see there's room still for improvement and he's got youth on his side.

wait
Chesney deh bout

voiceofreason 2024-09-30 15:29:41

85/6

Anguilla falling apart now.

Chesney 36 off 54. Not good enough.

Jahmar Hamilton only 3 runs. With youngsters like Jewel and Carlon Tuckett coming up, Jahmar is my boy but he will have to score heavily. Two failures already.

voiceofreason 2024-09-30 15:40:45

In reply to doosra

Yes good to see he has returned but at 33 time is running out for him. Will do well to break into the Leewards team which is on the up.

doosra 2024-09-30 16:11:25

In reply to voiceofreason

he could be a good veteran presence for next gen - Mikyle, Jewel, et al.

Great innings by Mikyle. Dominating the bowling at this level as he should.

pkriston 2024-09-30 23:07:25

In reply to voiceofreason

Tyrone Williams Jr. had a lot of promise back in the day. He was one of the many affected by the lack of sub-regional tournaments. Maybe it's not too late for him.

voiceofreason 2024-10-01 00:39:31

In reply to pkriston

Tyrone Williams Jr is not the later Runarko Morton's son? Look this is what I have been advocating for a long time rhe return of the sub-regionals. We are just playing the same old guys all the time. Need competition for spots. At age 26 Tyrone still has time but for others that may not be the same.

Mikyle really dominated. Looks like it will come down to SKB vs Antigua.

pkriston 2024-10-01 03:55:38

He is the younger brother of Runako. Thanks for the reminder. That slipped my mind completely.

SKB and Antigua look like the two best teams easily indeed.

saw somewhere a younger brother with name Tyrone Williams Jr., not son

voiceofreason 2024-10-01 21:04:24

In reply to doosra I believe Tyrone Williams Jr is related to the late Runako Morton.

voiceofreason 2024-10-01 21:33:17

Antigua and Barbuda vs Anguilla coming down to the wire!

Anguilla chasing 285 to win they are at 252/8 with Chesney at the crease needing 32 from 21!

voiceofreason 2024-10-01 21:47:02

20 from 14 balls another wicket gone! 265/9 Chesney still there but he is running out of partners!
Now 11 runs from 6 balls!

pkriston 2024-10-01 22:01:36

Good game. Anguilla allowed it to slip away.

doosra 2024-10-01 22:03:11

In reply to voiceofreason

younger brother if same person

pkriston 2024-10-01 22:18:00

In reply to doosra

It is

voiceofreason 2024-10-01 22:21:58

In reply to pkriston

Yes the competition got a nice competitive game. The runout looked close but I think it was out but Chesney should not have run in the first place. Anguilla lost a game they should have won. Antigua win by 1 run:

Antigua 284/10 in 46.5.

Jewel Andrew 72 off 44.
Kofi James 53 off 53.
Essan Warner 57 off 81
Karima Gore 46 off 50.

Ashley White 3/53
Jaidel Richardson 3/62

Anguilla 283/10 in 49.4.

Chesney Hughes 78 off 54
Asharn Hodge 66 off 85.
Kesharn Richardson 52 from 92.

Kadeem Henry 10 overs 6/49.

So Antigua and St. Kitts are the only unbeaten teams left.
