Hettie will have to do a lot to catch up.
I like the #3 position for him. Heads up IPL.

This was one of the best, most mature innings i have seen from him. Kept his composure on a slowish wicket even though Pollard and Russell were struggling to get the ball away or give him the strike.

Best batsman in the caribbean by a mile. good against all types of bowling. pity his tournament went out like this though. Pooran is not a batsman you expect to panic or get hit off the short ball like hope

He is a good batsman, but apparently none of the bowlers know how to limit his scoring. The only bowler who successfully tried to negate his scoring opportunities was Naveen. All other bowlers from various teams are brainless. You cannot keep bowling in the guy’s wheelhouse. A fast bowler best bet is to go full and wide outside off or short with the ball rising above chest height.

Naveen didn’t get as much lix as everyone else but he got some stick too. Naveen’s angle is weird dais why

You obviously never played the game at a high level if you can’t see that this fellow is simply a very special batsman. I played for a long time and I am telling you that Pooran would be a class batsman in any level of the game. He should be our #4 batsman in tests.

I agree. I would love to see both Pooran and Hope in our test 11. Maybe something like

Louise
Mayers ( better than Kraig)
Hope
Pooran (wk)
Athanaze
Hodge
Holder
Motie
Joseph
Joseph
Seales

mayers is a walking wicket in tests(trying to cut a starc delivery on offstump showed me all i needed to see in 2022) and hodge is not a test batsman which is where we are suspect. darren bravo has a better record and technique than both. if he's willing to play, he is one of the first names im seklecting
