More then that he - Vance brilliantly articulated his side's position.

I particularly liked his response re 'the Trump being a threat to democracy mantra'. He answered by saying that the massive censorship by the left IS the threat to democracy. Tim Walz and the biased moderators (again) had insinuated that Trump is a threat by not accepting the results of the election. Vance told him that Trump peaceful handed over power despite his right under the constitution, to contest the results of 2020

What was masterclass is that Vance was spot on correct when he challenged the dishonest moderators fake check

Shut and let the debaters battle it out rather than to biasely unfairly and fakedly tackle one side.

Vance was spot on when he said that the censorship by the Kamala/ Biden administration is the threat to free speech and thus democracy. Far from it to even conceive that Trump nearly presents such threat.

The whole MB here got their bloomers in a tizzy about Vance calling out the moderators who were doing fake fact checking and quoting the usual shill in the media. Clearly it was a strategy to interrupt Vance and cut his mic but Vance put that to rest.

Vance in essence to the moderators: "When I am on my lying tirade, don't expose me, by fact checking me. You should know me and my running partner, the biggest liar ever to come on the political scene, otherwise known, as the Liar Extraordinaire, we live in an alternate political reality. As I explained to Dana Bash on CNN last week, I lie to make a point. Lying is now part and parcel of the new MAGA movement. Recall when Kellyanne Conway said back in 2017 that we have our own alternative facts, it's because that's what our supporters, now part of the MAGA cult, want to believe in. They want us to lie at every turn for one purpose only - to gain power. Our supporters want us to lie. So I take personal affront when you CBS moderators try fact checking me. Lying is my game, lying is our plan and we are going to tell ever Springfield, Ohio type lie to win this election."

And so he did. What was on display last night was a slick chameleon. The guy tried to display the smiling, nicey-nicey persona to fool the public, until he was fact-checked. Then came faux outrage. He was exposed.
