And why are they allowed to host all the women CPL games.
This is not fair for Guyana.https://www.inewsguyana.com/cpl-money-stolen-in-trinidad/

WHY WAS TRINIDAD ALLOWED TO HOST 6 CPL FINAL
In reply to Jeremy
Last night at Providence was an example...
Trini host 6 CPL final and won 5 of them, And trini boasting on social media how they are the best.
Now Guyana hosting and trini getting trash, trini getting a Ass whopping.
Trini people are spoil brats and only knows how to complain.
Trini can never win anything outside of trinidad, they getting trash in Guyana.
Last year they won a game in guyana because Tahir won toss and bat first knowing the dew play a big factor, Tahir say it was experiment.
Well we trash trini in the final.
Now this year Tahir experiment again, giving pacers to bowled all the overs in the power play.
When he is most successful when he bowled his spinners in the power play, Tahir say it was experiment again.
We would have trash trini again in this year final.
In reply to Jeremy
You lost twice to TKR this year , only one game played in T&T...
The other was in your back yard...
In reply to sgtdjones
That game in guyana was Tahir experiment, he knows the spinners would be great in the power play.
But he wanted to try the pacers in the power play to see how they would do.
You know we would have trash trini in the final again this year.
Trini are intimidated by our fans.
In reply to Jeremy
You lost in Guyana with your fans ...they left early...
Plus, your fans fight each other...
In reply to sgtdjones
Experiment game by Tahir.
Today we will play real game vs St Lucia.
Our spinners will be bowling in the power play tonight.

CPL money stolen in Trinidad
In reply to Jeremy
It was a Guyanese in T&T that did it...
At least we had electricity?
In reply to Jeremy
because over the years....we've been hosts of the highest order. no incompetence, no fighting in the stands.
In reply to sgtdjones
how they not deeply disturbed by that is telling
In reply to Jumpstart
You really think we not shame??? Everyone including Jeremy ridiculed the situation as it was indeed very shameful and embarrassing!!!
But you can’t expect us to bat like Kraigg Brathwaite we had to lie down and try to hit a six like Kanhai lol
In reply to Jeremy
something we agree on. a significant portion of them are aggressive to the point of being violent, and im sure that is only amplified when they're inebriated. Trinis like to party and fights kill parties
In reply to WIfan26
dat name does give me nightmares. i still aint forgive the WI for failing to chase 256 against a toots sa attack(kg aside) last month.
In reply to Jeremy
You know the answer to this, so why do you want to cause trouble?
Whoever gives the CPL organisers the best compensation package gets the final/playoffs and a say in how many games they host during the tournament... it is bid upon by the hosting country.
T&T offered the best, so they got to host.
Now Guyana has money so they are offering the best package so they get to host.
Guyana does not have a Women's CPL Team... but I'm sure they could still bid to host the CPL matches... maybe they didn't bid so they didn't get it.
Again, I'm sure you know all this already.

also. Trinidad was the only marketable brand in t20 cricket in the region for the better part of a decade. when the cpl first came on, Trinidad had a side that was winning internationally. 2009 champions league finalists, 2013 semi finalists, the majority of both world cup winning teams being from trinidad. the only other visible players in t20 cricket then would have been gayle and dre rus(still vex with universe boss for not giving tkr a season;his biggest fan base outside india and JA is here)

Looking at all the kits this year, Knight Riders had the most sponsor patches all over.. left thigh, right thigh, left and right shoulders, chest and back... all over.. while other kits were bare...
Lots of local sponsors too.. so that is good. CPL needs to be sustainable to some degree within the region.. of course the foreign sponsorship is great, but we (and especially the local private sector) have to support our product and not depend solely on local governments.

exactly. there's actually an article on that on cricinfo
