Those fellas too comfortable man. But for me Pooran is the only player who automatically walks back into this team. If I was Hetmyer, I would be using the SL series to cement my place in the WI team. What happens if Rutherford has a great series in SL? Who will they drop for Hetmyer? Chase??

Why does Hetmyer need to rest? How many matches has he played for the West Indies in the last 4 months?

However, I would have been 100% supportive if Hetmyer was taking a break to work on his fitness.

A fan, we can always question......But it's purely between sportspersons and Associations/players and Boards/ employer and employee....

If a sportsperson wants a break and board agrees.... that's it........

Hety has been playing non-stop white ball cricket in various leagues since IPL i.e. March.....

CWI as well as Management did not select Hety....may be CWI like Walco and few like was very concerned about his fitness....

Does players, who plays for West indies has the sole right to take break?

Certain posters were fighting for players right to choose, ply trade according to their wish.....

Of all the players who declined selection for personal reasons, Hetmyer probably ranks last or close to last among those who "need" to take a workload break. He and the others obviously are free to make themselves available whenever they choose

Exactly..... that's my point.....any player/ employee /professional offering his service....non- stop... Since before IPL.... whether selected or not....away from family.... earning for family.....

Whimsical partisan posters ..... alleging to be fan of West Indies....but actually hommie fans.... saying, particular player was warming bench....being selected in playing XI....is beyond control of any player....his duty is to offer his professional service....

Management is best placed to decide whether to take the service or not....
