West Indies Petroleum Company Limited (WIP) has announced the appointment of Wayne Fraser as its new head of operations.
Fraser brings over three decades of experience in the bauxite, petroleum, and construction industries to his new role, WIP said in a statement to the media.
“Known for his strong leadership skills and ability to manage large teams and complex operations, Fraser will play a crucial role in WIP’s ongoing expansion efforts across the Caribbean and Latin American region. WIP, which has established itself as a major player in ship bunkering and fuel distribution over the past decade, views Fraser’s appointment as a strategic move to strengthen its position in the competitive energy sector,” the company said.
The statement from WIP quoted its CEO Charles Chambers as expressing confidence in the new addition to the leadership team.
