a proper word!!! I heard it as a lil boy on Leg 1 island & thought it was just part of the common every day choppy English & which is also, part of the English speaking Caribbean, now as I reflect. So, when I saw it on my phone, I was flabbergasted to the bone & nearly blurted out, 'is jumbee playing with me!' Btw, it was always grown ups or someone older using it & in a manner of rebuking - stop titivating with it! Yes, Guyneez & Caribbean folks, that vocabulary is Titivate! There's more to it, so, lemme see if alyuh can assist!

In reply to nickoutr Or they knew or were making a big assumption that we couldn't fix it! Or to simply say - stop messing with it.
