Agree with the steps up comment. One of my favorite players. I think he can be a much better bat than bowler.

Looks like a net bowler
…who won’t be called back

But maybe it’s nerves and later overs will be better. They have to be if you all see something in him.

People remember him more for chest roll than his actual cricket

First match tho. Time always tells. Best of luck to him

Andre served himself and his brand. Promise to retire after the last major tournament, begging a pick got it and after the tournament kept quiet and now talking about others ain’t good enough so because of this he needs to stay on to ‘serve’ West Indies and now gone missing again waiting to buy time for the next major tournament… Top skunt dat.

Yes. Those destroyers of WI cricket. The sole reason (along with Lara) for WI decline since the retirement of the likes of Viv, Greenidge, Haynes, Lloyd, and the 8 prong big grin

I do expect to hear his name calling when England come in a few weeks. I don't think he should ever be considered and auto pick.

I see Springer as a similar bowler to Shepherd. If he hits a groove, he can be economical and get you wickets. I like him as someone who has seemed to put in some good work and developed over the past year or so and wish him well.

Memories? What memories you talking about? Russell and Pollard made any contribution to WI cricket?

Could understand DJ Bravo and to a lesser extent Peltnarine... but Russell and Pollard are failures when it comes to WI cricket.
