He’s not married, this job calls for heavy traveling…nothing is in his way at his age.
He should have a conversation with some of the greats like my favorite, Michael Holding.
Not having a decorated player’s background could work in his favor. Players won’t feel intimidated by him and may be more open to honest off the field conversations which he can incorporate into his commentary.

I would not be surprised to learn that growing up in Tony Cozier's clubhouse was why he got into communication.
