Stokes:
We would have batted as well. It was an amazing victory last week. Again put into field. Keeping the intensity on the field was fantastic and that allowed us to bat big. We feel we've got all our bases covered. We've got three spin options and three seamers.

Masood:
We'll have a bat first. Just the condition of the pitch, we just want to put a good score on the board and let's see how it plays during the rest of the days. Firstly, playing a Test for Pakistan however you play, whenever you play, wherever you play, I think it is the biggest opportunity for any cricketer. We're all excited. There's some rejuvenated energy in the camp. There are things we can't control, we can control what we can do on the field. We can put our best effort here and we are very positive. (On going spin-heavy) We are happy that the spinners have some conditions where we can actually show that we have some decent spinners in the line-up. So, the onus and responsibility is on them. (On Kamran Ghulam) It's very heartwarming, he's finally got his chance, hope he has a memorable debut..

Jack Leach to Shafique, out Bowled!! Cleaned up! 88.4kph, Shafique presses forward to block expecting the ball to come in with the angle. However, the ball drifts in, lands around middle and spins away to beat the outside edge to before hitting off. That's a beautiful delivery and England get the breakthrough

Jack Leach to Masood, out Caught by Crawley!! Second wicket for Jack Leach! 86.5kph, slower through the air, fullish outside off, Masood leans forward to push it through mid-on and ends up hitting it squarer. Crawley, at short midwicket, dives forward and snaffles it with both hands. That's a sharp catch and a tame dismissal from Pakistan's point of view.

dropped by Duckett at mid-on. Kamran Ghulam 80 comes down the track and lofts, hits it much straighter than he would have liked to, Duckett goes to his right and leaps, gets both hands but can't hang on, just too high for Duckett

Potts to Rizwan, no run, beaten! 131.7kph, in-angling length ball that straightens a bit off the deck, Rizwan gets squared up as he pokes at it. Mighty close to the outside edge! And there's a spike on UltraEdge, confirming a thin outside edge! The bowler heard something but the other England players weren't interested

Root to Kamran Ghulam, FOUR, century on Test debut for Kamran Ghulam! Big moment for the 29-year-old. Despite scoring a bucketload of runs in the domestic arena, he would have been under tremendous pressure. His team down 0-1, replacing Babar Azam in the XI, walking in at 19/2, up against a disciplined bowling attack, he has notched up a fighting hundred. He's pumped up. Punches the air twice in delight,

Jack Leach to Kamran Ghulam, out Lbw!! That is dangersigns for England. Jack Leach goes wide of the crease and bowls it fairly full, it lands in the rough outside off, puff of dust comes out, then it nips back like how it would for a seamer, stays low and Kamran Ghulam is beaten on the forward defence. Rapped low on the pads and that was crashing into middle. Ghulam wastes a review as he walks back but what a game for him, certainly one to remember on debut

Well England lost and again , as SL before them, have shown up the West Indies inability to come back from defeat (except for the one off Brisbane test which everyone should recognise was a fluke). I dont know but that defeat to SA in Guyana has really deflated me as there was a series for us to win and our guys just dont have the skill or mental toughness to get the job done. we have to face it. Our skill levels are so much lower than those of other international teams that it is quite embarrassing.
