This is the first time SL have defeated Windies in a bilateral T20I series. Sanath Jayasuriya was supposed to be an interim monitor but the legend is here to stay! And that is certainly great news for this Lankan unit. They have looked cohesive and they have looked very solid in home conditions.

If we can't beat Sri Lanka in our favourite format, what do you think will happen in the ODIs. Our players have proven again that we have serious problems against spin. We did well to get to 162 after that disgraceful showing in the 2nd t20. Overall, Sri Lanka did their homework on our weakness and take note that we had to play out several overs of spin.
