Wasn't Beaton called again recently for pelting? Why is Guyana persisting with him?

Very good question, why persist with someone who has repeatedly been called for an illegal action, isn't there other economical pacers in Guyana? Also, it will be interesting to see how effective the team will be in the power-play with Nandu and Chanderpaul being the opening batters

Will be interesting to see how Thorne goes. I’m not entirely convinced about him in the white ball format.

He still seems to bowl a lot of wides and no balls and I’m sure in trying not to it affects his performance.

Hopefully he can put this right

Gonna be interesting to see how he goes. Was disappointing in the inter county.

Hoping for a better showing in the super50

Most notable omission is Akshaya Persaud... he decided to go with CCC instead... second year in a row he refused selection.

Refused selection last year and CCC ended up not picking him... let's see if they do him the same thing this year.

I was just asking because i saw the other wk savory in the squad and he was keeping in the 4 day competition

Savory and Imlach playing in the same XI for a few years now... both of them could make that squad as a batsman alone.

Imlach will most likely be the wk for the tournament.. Savory will play as a batsman.

I have seen him.....he used to be quick, before injury....

Interesting to see in 50- overs.....has several good performances in T20......

He's not that quick.. was always low to mid 80s.

Which good performances in t20s are you talking about? Bish saw him in the nets and was impressed... Tyndall is yet to do anything impressive at the inter country level in any format.

Dude that's club cricket... if the inter county quality is poor you expect that to be of any quality?

Look at the scores in that match... Tyndall never took more than 4 wickets in a match at the inter county level.

I think he is on a contract not sure... but it's interesting indeed.

Everybody used to question his spot when Seeram was picking him and he wasn't earning his pick but over the past two years he earned his spot and now he's refusing selection.

Problem with some of them is when they reach to this level they start to forget all that hardship and relax... I wishing Tyndall the best though I'm hoping he lights up the tournament.

Ronaldo was a former WI U19 player... dropped off the scene for a bit and now he's taking it seriously again. Hoping he proves himself in this tournament too.

Like you i hope to see him do justice,I see he has a bowling style which is his own,he can also hit a ball or 2.

What about Jonathan Rampersaud? saw he had some credible allround performances for the Select X1.Whats his story- hard for an off spinner to get a chance behind Sinclair and co?

Hard for a spinner to break into that squad.... think any bowler.

Some people were keeping noise for the left arm spinner from GCC... think his name is Lord, because he finished with most wickets. Don't see them picking him ahead of Permaul and Nedd.

The batting on the other hand is weak... you score lil runs and you could walk straight into that lineup. Kinda surprise they didn't pick Van Lange as a reserve, or Perez... Sachin Singh scored about 10 runs for the tournament and he's a reserve player.

This team is better than many regional teams picked....

Guyana always play batting & bowling all rounders...be it 50- overs or 4-days.... very good chance to reach semis......Hety might join, once England series over.... indication are Hety & Pooran are in squad for England...
