Aaron Jones axed from USA ODI side after choosing club over country

Aaron Jones axed
Jones chose to miss the Namibia tour with USA after opting to honour his CPL contract with St. Lucia Kings. It is understood that may have ruffled some feathers within the selection committee and the powers that be at USA Cricket after heading to the CPL despite 'warnings' from the cricket board.
By contrast Andries Gous, who cut short his engagement with Trinbago Knight Riders to make a last minute dash to Namibia retains his place in the side.
Sorry bhai...didn see you posted this

Aaron choose to beat guyana warriors.
Well done Aron. SLK is proud of you taking one for the TEAM. That matchwinning knock would have done more for your career than any knock in USA colors that includes Namibia.
Meanwhile in other news Zimbabwe posted the highest T20I score of 344/4 vs Gambia. Sikandar Raza 133 off 43!
Dam!
Hope Cricket USA doesn't suffer from the loss of Aaron Jones.
BTW, how are they doing in their game against the Scots?

This was posted on social media by a journalist that covers USA cricket... looks like it's the guy that he replaced in the USA squad is the new selector... de man just taking revenge on Jones.
But I'd direct your attention back to October 2018 when Jones made his USA debut at the CWI Super 50 and was competing head to head with another batsman, let's call him Player A and Jones Player B, in that squad to see who would be picked for the subsequent tour of Oman for ICC World Cricket League Division 3. Player A played three matches for USA in Barbados and scored 11 runs off 37 balls in three innings with a best of 11 against Combined Campuses and Colleges followed by ducks against Jamaica and Barbados. Player B made 78 runs in two innings with a best of 66.
Player A was dropped for the tour of Oman and never played for USA again. Player B stayed in the USA squad and has become one of their top four scorers of all time. However, even though he never played for USA again, Player A has made his presence known off the field by way of his actions rising up the ranks in American cricket politics. Playing the long game, Player A finally got a measure of revenge against Player B six years later in the most spiteful way possible.
American cricket politics baby!

I am not surprised.
There was some real bad vibes and envy at how well Aaron did.
I am not surprised some backward jackass would use any reason to axe him.
Clearly there is no love lost...
and watch the ride...it will get "sorted" out.
remember I said it here.

ICC will suspend cricket USA again....soon
Only because USA represent a lucrative market the ICC tekkin dem time to make a move....they have evidence of incompetence and corruption during the US leg of the last T20 world cup

Who will?
USA cricket is over-run by Indian Americans born in India. Although American citizens, they came with all their nasty baggage or ethnic and religious hate, do you truly believe the BCCI will go after them? They are the same people.
