Gambhir disaster for India...

Onionman0 2024-10-26 10:41:12

I posted previously, that Gambhir, a very divisive character would be disaster as coach of India. He got the job, simply because he was part of ruling party....is member of Modi's party.

More disasters waiting....

Now, CWI and BCCI..... functioning same way.... with same results....

He is pretty divisive going from his history

But everybody deserves a chance to settle in and then we can judge their suitability for the role

Thanks for this. The BJP take over of Indian cricket, makes India's cricket a political arm of Hindutva philosophy. Gambhir is part of them, observe what he wears in his wrist. He hates Virat and wants him out of the team: Virat's crime: He embraced two Pakistani players after of their WC matches a few years ago.

Watch how forces will try to take down Virat now and Ashwin, as an old school Indian with solid old Indian values- may also become a target.

QUITE PROBABLY. Virat better consult sachin, lara or viv on how to impose yourself on a series. i don't buy that he's done, not at 35 and not a batsman of his immense skill. get that average back over 50. australia is a country where he's scored over 500 runs in a series before, no reason he can't do it again

Gambhir wants him out and forces align to the BJP wants him out. He was "God" for them once. he went from "god" overnight to being a hated person. I was shocked when people overnight were telling me how much they hated him.

Not for his supposedly low run of scores, the hate was before his poor run of form, the hate against him is because he has steadfastly refused to tow the BJP Hindutva line along with his wife.

That is the battle in Indian society and the last election showed that Modi's hate philosophy that seeks to divide the people along religion and caste took a big hit, thanks to the tens of millions of Indians who are fighting tooth and nail, every day, to take back India from the hate filled alien Hindutva ideology.

And Kohli ahs embraced this good fight, long may he live.

3-0.....

When last time India was blanked.....

Probably 1983....by West Indies 5-0.... Immediately after World Cup loss....

Gambhir should be removed...

Coaches ...do matter...

West Indies is suffering for several years due to same reason...

I have softened my stance on ‘give him time to sekkle’

A whitewash at home when you too boasy boasy is humiliating for players, admin and chupid ‘we want sixer’ fans.

Well deserved I’d say!!!!! lol

Fire his rass, and Rohit and Koli. Let Koli turn politician if he want. Change he name to DuckandRun.

Wasnt Gambhir chosen for the job after his IPL success? Shastri was the last best coach they had in my opinion but the players they chose for the test almost seemed like limited overs types - maybe Gambhir wants to copy “Bazball” style but it backfired.Wheres the Pujaras, Rahuls, Rahanes etc. Gambhirs time is running out, he better rethink and take a better Test side to Australia
BCCI made a blunder with Gambhir, especially with Rohits and Kohli at the backend of their careers

Kohli undermining Gambhir

Perhaps the abundance of IPL type cricket is having an effect on batsmanship in Tests..
Spin bowling is the best yardstick to gauge this decline..
India was undone by spin in a series that that art was the dominant factor from both teams.

The meager contributions of the skipper and Kohli were stark

However, I feel India will find batting easier in Australia and I am backing them to beat up OZ
once their best pacers led by Bumrah are fit, fresh and available.

Gambhir was with Delhi Daredevils...failed as head coach...sacked...

Lucknow....sacked....

KKR.... Chandrakant Pandit was Head Coach... Gambhir was mentor....

He was member of Parliament from Delhi from Modi's party....BCCI Secretary is Jay Shah....son of Union Home minister.....

Gambhir selection as Head Coach is based on his affinity to the ruling party rather than merit....

Indian lost ....just look what he did to the batting order...to maintain left-right combination... shuffle all...worst sufferers..Sarfaraz.....the boy made 150 batting at 4.....next match, he bats at 7.....last test at 8.....

Gambhir, would be sacked.....maybe Laxman...

Rahul Dravid did a marvelous job....winning percentage at 70%......next to non....add a world cup to it....

Virat might start at his doorstep and check Kapil Dev for how to handle and what to expect from the wolves
