Dem Trinis playing Test cricket. First Bravo the could have been Savior of West Indies cricket, now 61/0 after 17 on a small ground and a good batting strip.

Kudos to CCC but where is the positive intent from the Champs?

tellin yuh. the kind of happiness bharath seeing right now is incomparable to the kind of stress west indies cricket between 2010 and 2019, without a doubt the two worst administrations in the history of west indies cricket.....the incompetence quadrumvirate does give even dem racists who was running the show in the 40s and 50s a run for their money in terms of damage done to west indies cricket. look like india heading down the same route, except their bane is populism on steroids. look how australia going to cane them....i pray virat makes a boatload of runs though. he can't go out without giving an epic reply to the critics

The Trini victim mentality. Whine and lime mentality. They even coined a new word for Wikipedia'" Bravo'ed".

100/1 after 26. Test cricket at St. Augustine.

Dropped! Caught and bowled chance. Greaves grabbed at it. Ottley survives 40* off 83.

we could expand that word too......bharath left before he was Taylor'ed or Gayle'd or Sarwan'ed or Russell'ed or Rampaul'ed or Ramdin'ed. by either one of two WI maladministrations or in Gayle's case, both. regular in wi colors during that period yuh had to be a talentless boy scout. in some of the territories in the eastern caribbean, it seems a successful cricket team is one that is orderly, dresses well and wins nothing

So I guess Sammy was never Sammy'ed after bringing home the 2nd World Cup? Most of those guys done make more money than you or I so let us move on. We have a decent Administration now catering for the players.

Sammy was Sammy'ed undoubtedly and i applaud sammy for taking on the big idiot.......but Sammy was already the beneficiary of a similar stance taken by the previous admin, a stance that exiled gayle for close to two years and destroyed Ramnaresh Sarwan's career and destroyed Dwayne Bravo's test career. I never heard him come out and say anything then, maybe in private he said something but that is a supposition

Not just dem 2. Almost an entire generation of regional batsmen are the same

Players like Athanaze, Carty, Wickham, Greaves (he not exactly young any more but massively mismanaged) provide some optimism however.

tellin yuh. men complaining about wi players cant play spin. i would like to say that gayle could play spin and Sarwan was exceptional at playing both spin and fast bowling, minus his hooking(i'd have much prefered him to be a puller than a compulsive hooker, but then that shows fearlessness). Sarwan was 5 days into his 31st year when his test career was murdered. sow the wind reap the whirlwind

Players like Athanaze, Carty, Wickham, Greaves (he not exactly young any more but massively mismanaged) provide some optimism however

i agree. and kaveem hodge, dude has guts. invaluable on the cricket field. Greaves is a very, VERY good batsman. Rutherford is also very good. in fact i'd say rutherford and lewis are the only whiteball players who can make runs on difficult wickets. those skills are easily transferable into test matches

I would love to see our best white ball players go against our Test Team in a 4-day match!!!

My money would be on the white ball players although the Test Team would probably have better bowling it certainly would be interesting though!!!
