Appoint Floyd Reiger as batting coach.

How do the players take take him seriously?

Shiv expressed an interest in coaching. Sars and Lara served as consultants earlier. Hooper wanted to coach. Adams was involved too.

Yet they choose Floyd. Bizarre

Oftentimes mediocre players make great coaches.

i have never seen a mediocre batsman make a good batting coach: Bobby Simpson was a very good batsman with a long career and very good numbers to back, in fact they were so good that the entire QPO crowd in Trinidad applauded stood for him to and from the wicket when he played here in 1978, despite scoring a duck. Graham Gooch, who was england's batting consultant between 2009-2014(some of their best years) was one of the best batsmen of the 80s with n enviable record against successive West Indian attacks of unparalleled ferocity. Face it....floyd would spoil even Kingston College as a batting coach

"Pretty Boy" Floyd is being rewarded for his 'loyalty' to the WICB over the years, especially the period of the SCABS. Him right up there with Head Coach $ammy.

Leave these know all alone.
Teaching and playing are different roles, y buddy as the assistant HC of a NFL team was destin to be a coach from his playing days in the CFL, I saw it in him during the many monday night football we watched together.
The guy never left home without his playbook a binder and a pen.
