Should it be the template for governing?
I ask because both the left and right , when in power, use state agencies and friendly media to go after their opponents.

We really are not that different after all, so can't we all just get along?

The big difference, the masses here have a little say, albeit cosmetic!

China, not so!

I am scared of dictatorship as practiced by most Arab countries!

North Korea is off the chart too!

Just look at China and you'll see that it works well for them . They're becoming the most advanced country in the world while forging alliances and making a real difference in the development of poorer countries all while the 'free' US spends trillions perpetuating wars on many fronts with their proxies in the guise of promoting 'democracy'. The US is a more policed state than China with all types of dark agencies readynand willing to create all types of chaos if it supports a narrative or agenda at the time.

Now that's a scary system, veiled fascist . The one that promotes wholesome living and progress albeit with force if necessary is beginning to look more reasonable the more you look at the US vs China and compare what they have achieved over the last 20 years or so .

China is the new world leader like it or not, and if you don't believe me ask any of the multiples of US citizens living and documenting thier experiences in China vs the US regarding crime cost of living and general society etc ..

USA is decaying and while China is blooming .

Some human beings need to be protected from themselves and the Chinese system of governance guarantees that. The more time goes by there will simply be no need for any force because the psyche of the people would be of progress and harmony. Kinda like Japan..

[quoteUSA is decaying ][/quote]

it is astounding that most in America believe that voting for what is essentially one party/ uniparty , is ...democracy , and that they have a say in anything important.

Knowledge, awareness ....is power.

Unfortunately rum and roti politics prevail everywhere and the masses are
embroiled in personality , identity and the most basic of metrics .

Mine is not to present a solution....as if there is such a thing.

Cuba....OK...Picture Cuba without 60 years of back breaking sanctions from the supreme imperial master.

Its OK to cast aspersions on other forms of governance from what I would presume, your comfortable plane of existence within Uncle Sam.

Let us say that the sanctions are removed, would you live in Cuba? I acknowledge what Castro did for the republic of Angola and for Southern Africa, but would you swap place and live in Cuba.

Knowledge is knowledge

Power is power

There are powerful stupid people

And powerless knowledgeable people

In fact, most knowledgeable people crave no power and the opposite is true of the less knowledgeable

On the broader point, there isnt a country on this earth that is crime or corrupt free.

And all people want freedom, of movement or expression

As my 6th form teacher once said, the earth is the state it is because most people are stupid and we seem to possess a worship gene that makes us pay deference to the rich, the famous or those we think are better (for want of a more apt word) than us.

True freedom lies in being able to suppress that gene

look at dat.... another thing we agree........cool

that deference to so called ' superiors , betters " has been with mankind since the dawn of time - skin color, caste, birth, knowledge, religion, wealth.

Holy books may suggest/imply that the meek shall inherit the earth. Paul Getty on the other hand , famously paraphrased "...but the strong shall retain its mineral rights." ( I''m guessing he was a Trumpish sort of Jefe ")

Throughout history , those who have overcome the referred " gene " have found impartial criticism and observation to be a dangerous pastime.

Most times having to adapt to the ruling juntas/ cabal/ monarch to survive....thus perpetuating the type of dialectics that brought down the Soviet Union ....and ..

ultimately western capitalism.

Mankind is theoretically doomed......sad to say...

These are interesting commentary.
I just have a few cursory questions
1 – why wasent Apple and Microsoft and Google, to name a few technologies developed in China
2 – why wasent airplane invented by China
3 – why did China not invented Facebook and other social media
4 where and who developed the light bulb
5 indians and Egyptians developed indoor plumbing
I am sure that Govt infrastructure and structure contributes to these developments.

cool Will bite.....It is general consensus that the chinese students are among the most gifted / brilliant in any
academic environment encountered .... we have , all of us over time encountered what i just postulated.

Why then do we assume that the talent in china is less inclined academically that they have no original thought in their homeland.

America / China / Africa all have brilliant minds across the fields and it is also a fact that they have all " borrowed " from
others.

German rocket scientists and technology was somehow borrowed by the US.
The Japanese did wonders with the Rotary engine which was revolutionary at the time.

So where did this hypothesis , misinformation maybe , originate and perpetuated .... that the Chinese are incapable of original thought
in their homeland but clearly acknowledged once they leave Chinese airspace?

You guys can chat some real nonsense sometimes.

Are you aware of China’s social credit system?

Do you know that government workers in China are not allowed to leave the country? It is not that they need permission to…they are not allowed to. I am not surmising. I am not giving you information that I got from outsiders.

And let’s talk about China’s “help” to poor countries. Are you aware of China’s involvement in Sri Lanka and the result? That’s just one example.

Won't live in the US at all, and China's a bit out of our range geographically logistically and culturally to be considered an alternative home . Would live in the UK over the US or China if i had to choose among them for some reason. But China is different level and should not be trivialized or ridiculed, its a success story .

Check the vids ..

I suggest no such thing, neither do I believe that - that's misconceived inference you have drawn

How old is China?
China is one of the world's oldest countries, with a recorded history of over 5,000 years:

How old is the US?
The simple answer is that as of the July 4, 2024, the United States is [b]248 years old.

I am sure you you see the picture

Check this out it, offers some perspective on the genesis of how the USA had an industrial and technical advantage with capacity after WWII.

But that's changed and many are blind to or delusional about it, China is now the world tech leader and the gap is widening weekly in all sectors .

China's turning out geniuses by the millions , many are sleeping on the Chinese .

Just one example, did you know China supplies many western legacy car manufacturers including MB with new battery, display interface and hybrid drivetrain tech ? Also their new electric car batteries are 100% safe even after being punctured etc ..
