Guyana Harpy Eagles vs Leeward Island Hurricanes
101/6 after 26. 15 overs left. Very crucial that this pair try to bat as far to the end as possible.
Outside of Greaves and to a lesser extent Louis and Chesney none of the Leewards' batsmen have made use of their opportunity to cement their positions in the batting order when the international players like Keacy, Jewel and Walsh Jr return later this week.
102/6 after 27.

Everybody got to chip in from here.
138 all out with a valiant effort by Jerimiah louis who finished not out on 34. Something to defend here.

Batsmen yet you’re saying Walsh Jr?
In reply to voiceofreason
HE should win dis but yuh never know
In reply to imusic
VOR never misses an opportunity to plug his homies.
In reply to imusic
Well Walsh Jr is not a bowler... so maybe he's a batsman
Cornwall is a big time liability in the field... balls passing right next to to d man and he can't even stop it.
Why they still playing this dude?

Easy win fi Guyana
Victory for Guyana.... picked up 4 valuable bonus points too.
In reply to anthonyp
and how many points for the win?
LI got zero points this game
In reply to doosra
Based on the updated points table they sitting in 4th position with 25 points.
T&T on 25 points too but with a slightly better NRR.
LI in second spot with 27 and Bim in 1st place with 31.
Only Guyana and LI played 4 matches though.. everybody else 3.
Congrats Guyana won an important toss and made it count. Our batting outside of our openers are was not tested this season and failed when they finally got tested.
Leewards remain in 2nd place and with Jamaica, Windwards and CCC still to play. A top 4 finish is what we need so we good. Leewards next game is Friday in the REVO Derby and I expect the international players to be back by then as Walsh Jr, Jewel and Carty are not in the T20I squad. A lot of people have shallow memories that Walsh Jr had 20 plus wickets last season in the Super50 so at this level he gets wickets. He also adds depth too our batting. I don't think Captains support him enough on the international level.
This could be the team vs Windwards:
Greaves
Louis
Carty
Hughes
Jewel
Jahmar
Cornwall
Walsh
Louis
Doram
Oshane

yea it's all very bunched up top 5...should be interesting for the next half
In reply to doosra
That washed out match against CCC will hurt GHE chances..
De bowling is still a big worry for them. Tage and his poking at the top too. Ramnauth is a similar type of opener so he won't make a difference.
In reply to anthonyp
The bonus point system keeps GHE in play for the semis. It is not just winning it is about scoring the bonus points.
Super50 Points Table
In reply to Arlo
teams losing close matches appreciate the move away from the all or nothing game right
it's the best thing theyve done for the 4 day and now this
some on the mb have been calling for this sort of thing for years
In reply to anthonyp
It maybe getting late early for Tage's career, if doesn't get his shyte together... He F$#Ks around too much at the crease.
