Final ODI WI v ABE
In reply to Halliwell
What does ABE stand for?
West Indies (Playing XI):
Brandon King, Evin Lewis, Keacy Carty, Shai Hope(w/c), Sherfane Rutherford, Shimron Hetmyer, Roston Chase, Romario Shepherd, Matthew Forde, Gudakesh Motie, Alzarri Joseph
England (Playing XI):
Philip Salt(w), Will Jacks, Jordan Cox, Jacob Bethell, Liam Livingstone(c), Sam Curran, Dan Mousley, Jamie Overton, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, Reece Topley
West Indies have won the toss and have opted to field
Livingstone:
We were going to bowl as well. Obviously a heavily chasing ground. We feel like we've played a lot of cricket here over the last couple of years. Two changes: Overton, Topley in for Mahmood and Turner. Just making changes, keeping people fresh. That's the brand we want to play. Want to be attacking and put pressure.
Hope:
We will be bowling first. Not sure what we'll get over here at Kensington. Got to make sure we assess conditions quickly as a bowling group. Two changes: Shamar, Jayden out, Alzarri and Shepherd back.

3.4
Alzarri Joseph to Jordan Cox, out Caught by Shai Hope!! Absolute snorter from Joseph and it's too hot to handle for Cox. 148.2kph, banged in on a short of length around off and climbs sharply at Cox in defence. He barely is able to get his hands up in time as it grazes a bit of glove on the way to the keeper. Joseph is still unhappy about something and hardly even celebrates. Seems to be complaing about something to his teammates if anything.
ENG 10/2 (3.4) CRR: 2.73
AlJo is mad and leaves he firld...WF goin on....he mad wid cappo Hope?
What is wrong with alzharri ?that does not look good that type of behaviour?
Aljo left the field ....... ridiculous behavior....he in de pavillion

He ought to be disciplined !!!!!! Yuh vex ,,,,yuh stay on de field

No no no MR. JOSEPH. Gyal behaviour that.
That is the man that was your vc
This is so childish
Alzarri back out on the field
5.1
Shepherd to Jacob Bethell, out Caught by Roston Chase!! All the drama surrounding Alzarri Joseph aside, England continue to lose wickets. Jacob Bethell, born and brought up in Barbados, falls for a duck. Short and wide outside off, he cuts in the air and Chase hangs on to a brilliant overhead catch as he leaps full stretch at backward point.

Give Alzarri to bowl because if he is mad like a raging bull he might take it out on Poms
There are justifiable situations for that behaviour
And some unjustifiable
Let’s wait and see

Shepherd to Livingstone, out Caught by Shai Hope!! Edged and gone! England lose another as Livingstone goes for an ambitious drive on the up. Good length ball outside off, he looks to crash it through the off-side but this pitch has plenty of bounce which isn't easy to get on top of. It takes the outside edge and Hope grabs another easy catch.

Roston Chase to Sam Curran, out Caught by (sub)Hayden Walsh!! There's the miscue and there's the wicket for the West Indies, was nicely tossed up and Curran couldn't resist, mid-on was inside the ring and he was trying to go over that fielder, but he's undone by the drift and ends up playing across the line, Curran ends up slicing the leading edge and popping it high towards mid-off. Hayden Walsh runs to his right from mid-on, he has plenty of time to settle under and holds onto a reverse cupped catch

Hopefully our batsmen play lower risk cricket in the power play. If you hang on there are runs to be made easy easy

40.3
Forde to Philip Salt, out Caught by Alzarri Joseph at long-on!! Brilliant stuff from King! That's as good as it can get. Pitched up outside off, Philip Salt eyes light up as he heaves across the line and makes decent connection. It's traveling towards deep mid-wicket. Brandon King moves to his left, keeps his eyes on the ball and leaps to grab it with both hands. Meanwhile, Alzarri Joseph has run across from long-on. King realises that the momentum will take him over the ropes so he flicks the ball towards Joseph before going over the boundary ropes. An easy take for Joseph there. That's a catch in the name of Joseph but the credit should go to King, brilliant piece of athleticism. Darren Sammy in the dressing room loves it and claps. Forde runs towards King to congratulate him. End of a good knock from Philip Salt nonetheless

Alzarri Joseph to Jamie Overton, SIX, that's massive! A 141.4kph slot delivery outside off, Jamie Overton frees his arms and smokes it over long-off for a maximum. Brute
44.3
Alzarri Joseph to Mousley, FOUR, poor delivery and duly punished! Short delivery around leg-stump, Mousley pulls it over short fine for a one-bounce boundary. That brings up the maiden ODI fifty for Mousley! A gentle raise of the bat and he soaks in the applause from his mates. He came into bat when England was rebuilding and has played a composed knock under pressure. Good temperament on display

People here do not seem to know that Archer is an all-rounder.
I remember when he was recovering from his first injury (after signing with Hingland),
His county and Hingland gave him permission to play club cricket in Barbados,
but as a batsman only.
He was an allrounder in Bim.
He also batted well in his first county stint.

Jacob Bethell to Keacy Carty, FOUR, there's the maiden century in ODIs for Keacy Carty! He takes his helmet off and raises both his hands in the air to soak in the moment. It's been a brilliant knock from the young man. He has showed his class and has also shown good composure throughout. Was on the shorter side, Keacy Carty rocked back and cut it in the gap between backward point and third man to reach the milestone. Also, Keacy Carty becomes the first St Maarten batter to score a hundred
St.Maarten must be proud! To come from such obscure and humble beginnings. BTW look at the S/r 106.12.

Fortunate it came at a crucial game and I'm happy. Once you go through the initial phase, you have to believe in yourself and that's it your time. He batted fluently, he came at a crucial stage
think we fought back really well, the boys batted really well at the end. Disappointing end to the series but there were good moments in this series for us. Lots of lessons and experiences from this series, a lot to learn as well. We are missing a lot of players in this series, a lot of new players in this series for us and they will learn a hell lot from it.
I was a bit suprised but it's all about going out and doing the job for my team. The wicket was slow, we tried to adapt and assess quickly. For me, it was keeping the cutters into play and the wicket was a bit stick. I think it's a brotherhood, it's a collective team, we love each other and support each other. We all have different opinions and respect each other's opinions. Really happy to get the series win and happy to get the player of the series
I thought we were disciplined and the main thing to be an elite team is to make sure that you do it consistently. He's a big plus for us, the work is really showing. The boys are doing a lot of work off the field and it's a really big confidence booster for us. In a situation like that, you have to understand that such things happen. It shows that we always fight when we are challenged. The importance of doing things off the field translates onto the field. Really happy with the way our batting unit performed and the bowlers also did really well.
