Yes, who are we to tell Americans what's good for them.

There are always surprises and disappointments in politics. I have learnt to dust off, persevere and come back harder.

You were the one claiming superior information or understanding of polls/trends, and some kind of ability to discern the real facts.
Complete with the usual hubris.

There is a reason why polls have a margin of error. There was only one credible outlier poll.

But more importantly, you cannot have any modeling which factors in racism and misogyny.

And further, this discussion is taking place with the benefit of retrospection. It is meaningless.

If you live there, just know that your republic died today.

All is fair in love and war but when it's over shake hands and move on graciously.

However, some of the Sunulation is failing atm. Too much heat interfering with the signals causing program failures. Everyone just needs to calm down and move on - the sun will still rise tmr

So have you now come to the realization that polls - including the ones you were just touting - are no longer reflective of reality? Or is it just in this unique instance of a black female candidate?

But the polls have been increasingly inaccurate - in direction and/or margin - since at least 2016….as the electorate has become more complex with more shades of identities along the spectrum.

Polling has apparently not kept pace. For one, sample sizes have remained too small imo. No amount of ‘improved’ modeling technique can make up for not adequately capturing views from across that expanded spectrum.

This is a textbook case of confirmation bias - holding on to a belief despite clear suggestions to the contrary, and even as the trajectory moves in the opposite direction.

Instead of considering other perspectives or evidence, anyone who dares to question the belief is dismissed with hostility.

No one knew.

I merely indicated that the trajectory suggested that he would.
