In reply to doosra
Yup.
I do not care what the issue is.
That is unprofessional behavior.
Let me see the outcome of this.
VOR: I do not want to hear from you.
During the drinks break for that Bethel wicket.
King tries talking to cool down Joseph and he slapped King's hand away.
I could read his lips cussing as he walked away after drinking water.
And idiots had him as VC.
Dam idiot.
You work out disagreements behind the close doors.
Agree
Nobody but the players knows what the issue is
In reply to doosra
What happened?
In reply to StumpCam
Somebody ate Joseph's fungee he had in the fridge.
Automatically it must be a bajan.
In reply to TanteMerle
Did not see the incident so would refrain from commenting until I do.
In reply to Gun_Play
Yuh does eat di fungee fuh di sake ah di sauce
In reply to Walco
Yep, and Hope tell he it ain't had on flying fish so it wasn't him.
Trumpian behavior has now struck Windian cricket.
Hope right to eat his fungee.
After all is is part if the national dish of Barbados,
and dem in Barbados.
BTW: it is called cou-cou in Bim.
In reply to Gun_Play
Unacceptable behavior
No biggie if you are unhappy wid yur cappo about field placing for your bowling....but angrilly leaving the field of play to go and sit in de pavilion ....and leaving only 10 men to continue is unacceptable.
Emergency fielder was not allowed to come on
Sammy was quickly at the boundary to intervene
the umps might report this behavior
What did I miss?
In reply to Casper
You went ghost on us last night. Let us hope it yields victories!
In reply to Narper
Yes just saw the review. Let his emotions get the better of him and should be reprimanded for such. He crossed the line when he crossed the boundary.
So he shoulda stay on de field and Tino Bested Hope instead?
Is Alzarri Joseph a Ambrose 2.0?
What sparked the out of control rage?
vor, powen, other assorted scammy wingmen rope in?
In reply to imusic
So? As per Holding’s 1st auto-bio
“ Don’t expect 17 men to spend 3 months together and there not be disagreements. There has been times when men almost came to blows, but, once we stepped over the boundary rope onto the field we were a team”
Alzarri showed his dissent to captain Pooran, we know his character.
A 3-game suspension, at the minimum, for dissent and insubordination with a public apology before he is allowed back on the field. Such unprofessional conduct should not be tolerated and should be met with a firm punitive sanction.
In reply to jacksprat
What sanction did Holding and Croft get for kicking down the stumps and deliberately barging into the umpire in NZ after a decision went against them?
In reply to imusic
You are a fool bro.
In reply to imusic
Nothing. We were on their side. Now yuh dis yuh cappo, yuh dis wih.
In reply to imusic
Are you suggesting that because bad behavior from 5 decades ago presumably went unpunished it should therefore be tolerated in perpetuity?
You can't be serious!!
In reply to jacksprat
Has WI cricket ever sanctioned a player for lack of conduct in the field of play?
If they haven’t why start with AlJo?
No link to the footage?
CWI gotta send some of these fellas to anger management
Sinclair
Rutherford
Alzarri
Who else?
In reply to imusic
Any triedthat with Lloyd?
Nuh really mean it still, but he behaving inappropriately.
In reply to natty_forever
Yes, Holding once vehemently disagreed with field placing and took quite some time to settle the matter and return to his mark. Same Holding who said "Once we stepped over the rope we were A Team"
In reply to Brerzerk
Cannot recall that, not mentioned much. Guess overshadowed by the stumps kicking.
I find Aljo behaviour to be out of control But if it was so bad they could easily have told him to sit out the rest of the game. Yes he wanted his field set a certain way and we all know why He got the most drop catches etc. But He needed to show a more level head. And you saw it again for the over throw, which for sure the umpire will report him cause he was like Why the eff you throw the ball, me heard it and read his lips.
But we talking about a3 game suspension like he brought the game in disrepute. Now what if the cappo tell him chill out on de bench so long, or it's been discussed when he losing his cool step off the field
All in all he was wrong and should and do need to control his anger especially towards his teammates. But his bowling during and after that was some the best I've seen him bowl in a while, minus his second to last over
Bad look overall. However, I'm sure they'll discuss internally and an appropriate decision will be made. Hopefully they can hash it out like men and move on.
I wouldn't worry about the public image. It made for entertaining tv.
In reply to positiveg
Pretty much my point. He ain’t the first West Indian cricketer to “misbehave” in public and he sure as hell won’t be the last.
This really is an internal team matter and it’s for the team to deal with.
Whatever consequences he faces as a result, I would likely be good with.
People just caught up in the emotion of the moment in calling to 3 match suspension and ting. Like dey forget there is something called a CBA.
I have no idea of what’s in the CBA or even if there’s any content that addresses what happened today. But usually that needs to be first dealt with.
That said, given that WIPA sell out players to CWI…..maybe CWI could do what Dey want.
Thankfully, this CWI administration appears to be more player progressive than their predecessors.
It is amazing how many people here do not know about cricket and rules.
All ya talking about Windies sanctions;
however, the umpires may report him and that has nothing to do with Windies.
The umpires may report him and he will be dealt with by the ICC rules.
Nonetheless, he needs to grow up.
Too many children on this team/squad/Super 50 etc.
A bunch of indiscipline spoil brats.
They should let the ball and bats do their talking.
Idiots. No wonder Wondies rank so low.
In reply to imusic
Having understanding of what actually happened...and for you to post this much garbage in defense of pure Jobby really is beneath you.
I know you know better.
Do better man
Maybe we rank so low because we have no fire. AlJo hot up things.
Oh 148k
We need him angry more.
In reply to imusic
True about WIPA and CWI holding same head. However , players behaviour is I'm sure part of their contract so whatever the rule is, the rule is. I think most persons angry more at the player than the actions of said player so then there's that.
In reply to positiveg
Nail meet hammer
I didn't know all that bacchanal took place! The good news is I learnt a new word: contretemps
In reply to powen001
Proper post P.
Music man is a shyte stirrer excusing gross misdeeds of a allegedly professional athlete. He and jumpfart use Bim as the straw man for their rubbish p.o.v. . There's a gaggle of weak minded dotties who rush in to prop up music man's verbal trash.

In reply to natty_forever
Fully agree, A lot better to have "fire in the belly" and try to control it as opposed to get it in to someone who never has it.
In reply to positiveg
That is an affirmative and his detractors posting history would verify as much. fuel for their fire?
Aljo's behavior was unprofessional and I'm sure he will be reprimanded appropriately..
hmmmm...148 kph wicket, a flicker of the fire that was in Babylon?
Shocked by some of the comments here...other than the ones by Imusic whose envy-filled agenda is well exposed most times that he posts. Even the Kensington pitch is to blame for Rutherford's injuries rather than credited for providing a true batting surface for attractive stroke play, with something for the fast bowlers to exploit and little in it for Rashid to bamboozke our guys
In reply to Logic
It was Shepherd that injury prevented from bowling, your comments on the musicman is well noted as he continues to spill venom anything with Bim.
In reply to Bamboocane
Yep 92mph that ball was. The batsman ain't see it till too late and Hope also aint' see it either.
In reply to tc1
Yep. I meant Shepherd. One of Imusic's many loaded posts. He was particularly bitter yesterday for some reason. Had one sardonic post commisserating with the "three English Bajans" rather than celebrating with Bajan Chase who took a spectaular catch to dismiss one of them, or with Bajan Forde who bowled 2 excellent spells to keep them in check or the Bajan captain who kept his cool under immense provocation within his own team.
No need for speculation about what his perspective would be if Alzarri had walked off the park and left team playing with 10 men when a trini was captaining
In reply to natty_forever
Alzarri is almost always angry. Not sure his overall stats reflect that it helps his game
Its very insulting and defamatory to Holding and company to suggest their anger is what determined their success. There are a lot of angry young men out there. Most of them are self destructive. It was the discipline that comes from having a significant cause to sustain your "anger" that led to the success of those great teams
Sammy should be fired for this.
It shows there was no planning session or strategy session before the game.
But even if they had any it perhaps was not well though out or communicated.
In reply to WI_cricfan
Maybe de skippa went rogue
In reply to imusic
Did you feel the same way when the said player reacted on your Trini captain?
In reply to tc1
Do u recall Scammy on field behavior when Jason Holder became his captain? Scammy reaction to Joseph outrage is lukewarm. Why?? Besides foolish talk of 'his cricket field' there's nada in the way of serious punishment for Joseph.
In reply to WI_cricfan
I watched the first incident when he walked off the field.
I do not see the need for any different field places.
Now I am speculating, as I do not know the reason for the disagreement.
I give Hope respect for keeping his cool.
I gave Hetty respect for trying to cool de idiot down.
I gave King respect for trying to cool him down, even to the point where he slapped king hand away.
I don't know if Aljo believes that he can beat a Jamaican like King.
I blame the selectors who made him VC earlier.
Made him think that he was special,
while he was like Tino Best, fast and foolish.
If Alzarrie would learn to bowl, he would be deadly and considered a great.
Imagine having such pace and bowling short and foolish.
Them imagine him starting out his white balls games bowling test match length first.
He is either too full, or too short consistently.
Alzarri is a 27 years old man,
and an 8 years old professional (international, not youth cricket).
He should be more mature.
He was even appointed cappo of Leewards, and VC of Windies.
Guess those selectors feel foolish now.
He possibly hurt his earning potential with the IPL auction coming up as well.
Three words: - id...dee..ott.
CRICKET WEST INDIES ANNOUNCES SUSPENSION OF ALZARRI JOSEPH FOR TWO MATCHES
Miles Bascombe, CWI Director of Cricket, addressed the decision, stating,
"Alzarri's behavior did not align with the core values that Cricket West Indies upholds. Such conduct cannot be overlooked, and we have taken decisive action to ensure the gravity of the situation is fully acknowledged."
"I recognize that my passion got the best of me,"
he said.
"I have personally apologized to Captain Shai Hope, my teammates and management. I also extend my sincerest apologies to the West Indies fans—I understand that even a brief lapse in judgment can have a far-reaching impact, and I deeply regret any disappointment caused."

Respect.
Time to move on.
In reply to TanteMerle
Maybe he's inspired by Lara book where the Prince claim Vivian made him cry once a week and made Sir Carl cry twice a week.
