Brandon King is among the top 5 best batsmen in the region……in any format of the game.

From someone who doesn’t know cricket

The most interesting thing for me was that not one of the commies mentioned that he had returned from injury.

King has great hand-eye coordination and loads of talent. BUT, he needs serious coaching to develop technique. Hand -eye will diminish, form will go, that’s when technique including every single thing in your 1st post (all many times missing in King’s batting) becomes valuable.
Ps Ah kno creekit

How did Gayle’s technique work out for him?

His bat was almost always close to his pads, his reach ‘changed lengths, his head was always still and aligned with ball trajectory. He hardly ever reached for the ball.

I like king but let's not act as if he doesn't have weaknesses

That 100 pushed his odi average to just over 30

Where did I suggest he has no weaknesses?

I said he is among the top 5 batsmen in the region regardless of format.

That doesn’t mean he has no weaknesses.

I believe that I may have cause all his talk about king.

let me reiterate, " I love King and wish him the best'.

King -played a shot that someone called elegant (I used a synonym here).

I responded to explain how the show was good and not exquisite (synonym).

My aim was simply to show that King has flaws that needs addressing.
if not addressed, he will in all likelihood remain insistent.
Analyst will see these flaws and work against him.
Even with these flaws, he would have a few good days/scores.

I would like to see him address these glaring flaws and become consistent.
Every batsman has flaws.
The better players work on them.

I will like to see Floyd Reifer, Scammy etc work with him.

Yes...King is one of the top 5 better batsmen in Windies; however,
In the land of the blind, the one-eye man is King.
