Imlach's captaincy all tournament has been off
Another curious display in the field by Guyana, captian's bowling choices, field placements, the bowling itself
In reply to jacksparrow
also centrally contracted players who are not fit to bowl their full quotas etc
there is no way Nial Smith should not be fit enough to bowl 10 overs a day

Match over, DLS system in play as bad light ends the game. TT won big.
Top the standings and into the SF. Guyana still in with a small chance of making it to the SF, they will need to win their last match against the young WI squad by a big margin to hold off Jamaica who have 2 games remaining.

Yep
Good win

Goolie and Jangoo need to play for TKR next year. Goolie also had a very good fc season last season so he should be on the WI radar right now. One of the few batsmen in WI cricket who knows where his offstump is

Imlach is a young captain , and when you add the wicket keeping duties to that , it will take some getting used to and becoming proficient. I think he has potential. Da Silva is having the same problem I find. Red Force is winning because they are at home, so the support resources are close by but the captaincy itself on the field is not vry impressive and do think its the newness of the job and the double duty.

That Radar always mal-function when it see Trini names
In reply to soloview
at this point it is better Tevin focus more on his batting
I think there is a greater chance for him to excel there especially given the need at the next level and that Jewel Andrew may well jump ahead of every other contender

That is BS. we’ve won titles away from home. Stanford in 2020 was in Antigua. The Caribbean t20 in 2011,2012 and 2013 were held in Barbados and St Lucia, Trinidad hosted the first half of the 2013 edition. The champions league was never held in Trinidad and yet we excelled in that tournament.
In reply to granite
Yuh eh see they send louis to England and homie didn’t know where his off stump was
In reply to doosra
Imlach will have the same problem because he will most likely come in in the same position as Da Silva. I don’t know how you expect a batsman to succeed when he consistently comes to the wicket at 100-5 or 90-5. You guys were saying the same thing about Ramsin, who had the same problem once the retarded board had stripped the the team of its best players. Dow rich had the same problem because the 6 batsmen above home all averaged in the 30s or 20s so they were coming into the wicket with nothing on the ball and the ball still either very or relatively new.

you are making isht up this morning
stop it
if you are responding to me, at least speak truth about what i said or ask me what i mean
In reply to doosra
In da Silva’s last test, he came in at 47-5 and 100-5. In the test prior to that he came in at 173-5. In the last test in England, he came in at 119-5 and 146-5. In the first test in England, he came in at 88-5 and 55-5. In Brisbane during that famous win, where he scored 74, he came in at 64-5 and 148-5
Facts are stubborn things
Joshua is technically one of the best batsmen in the team. He plays close to his body so he does not get bowled between bat and pad and he knows where his offstump is. Most importantly, he can regularly get the ball of the square unlike the current skipper
In reply to Jumpstart
You sure it's the same DaSilva that plays for WI you talking about?
In reply to anthonyp
When uno get facts it bun yuh boi.
In reply to granite
What facts? Where is this facts? De man saying something about Silva knowing where his off stump is and got one of the better techniques... if yall think so then lord help us.
Young Jewel Andrew taking that spot soon.
