The story (on the ground) in Jamaica about the Scam Industry is that the underwriters were once gainly employed in the US, but were uprooted and deported during a previous 'mass deportation' era. Being as resourceful as they were, they took their knowledge of the business environment in which they were engaged and built the once thriving if not renowned scamming business sector.

Go walk around in the Jamaican countryside and see the sprawling houses and high-end motor vehicles attesting to success of these scammers, who continue to recruit the best and brightest into their fold.

Again, make sure you can compete with the St Lucian version of the deportees however they choose to acquit themselves once they return home.
