Our Super 50 series, which is so crucial to our ODI development, is really suffering from the weather. Perhaps this November is just unusually wet all over the Eastern Caribbean. However, if this is the norm, perhaps we should consider switching Super50 to September which is Petit Careme and so a bit dryer and moving CPL to November where it may be possible to dodge the rain for a few hours in the evening.

I dunno what possessed them to have that tournament in this time. But that monstrous cpl does clutter the schedule as well

Super50 should take precedence over CPL. the CPL crowds will come out any time and clearly November is a quite month in the international schedule as all our franchise players are at home.

IPL rules

We used to have cricket season from January to May (aka Dry Season) but as you said, IPL come in and imbalance the thing.

Still though, we have a large portion of our players that are not in IPL so I don't see any reason why we can't schedule our cricket as before. As Pals said, you could schedule CPL anytime and people will come out.
