is no kind ah cricket at all, and can't get us anywhere. West Indies would never win against and good opposition who is serious about winning with this blatantly flawed approach to their batting. This "luck and chance" cricket could only have worked in the first two T20 World Cups when every team was playing hit or miss; who hit the most six win. Since then the game has moved on, but West indies have remained in the same old gear, same approach, only capable of a, by chance, overwhelming performance. I have heard the coach as a commentator some years ago describing the approach that they use in the dressing room. It was based on attempts to hit a certain number maximums in every certain number of balls. The game has long gone beyond that. Today, international teams bat upfront with batsmen, and place their sluggers down the order to hit as much maximums as they could to boost the solid foundation laid by batsmen. The West Indies packed up their batting order with all the sluggers that Franchise cricket all around the world pick up for vooping contracts. They have clearly minimized the roles of batsmen like Hope, Chase and Rutherford who are often shuffled out to make way for the voopers. The team is performing as chance allows. Expect a blistering performance in at least one of the next few games that would make England look like seconders raters. Just don't forget that it is just the laws of luck and chance, and the series is already lost.
