Regional Umpires

I have never seen a fielder claim a catch on the boundary then for the umpires to signal six with no replays in regional cricket.

Not only that but the commentators fail to explain what was going on
I had to surmise what happen several minutes after, from their patch work comments

Camera was focus on the opposite side of the field

But, in fairness to them, the reserve/third umpire had a better view and was consulted, the fielder did step on the rope, so as comical as the lack of video and the commies were, the right decision was made in the end.

At least you are able the clarify the decision that was made;
but it is the commentators job to analyze,clear up, interpet and simply spell out what happened

AHH WELL! expecting too much.

What about a ball going for 6 and the fielder signaled 4.
The umpire signaled 1 without consulting the tv umpire.

Our umpires are poor.
We have a tv umpire for a reason.
