Yes, a coach eating when the game in play is not appropriate. There is an interval for that and eating and watching the game to identify a game weakness in the opposition isn't a professional way of dealing with things.
If I'm a director of cricket or president of a cricket board I'd take that as a dismissive way of handling the job at hand.
