In order to get back to the finals we must drop the deadweight. Seriously come on Man! He is expensive and does not take wickets, plus he is a liability in the field and he cannot bat!
Javier Spencer adds some variety to our bowling being a Left armer give him a chance.
Come on Polo and Co do the right thing!
Kadeem Henry
Chesney Hughes
Jewel Andrew
Karima Gore
Jahmar Hamilton
Dmitri adams use his off spin bowling as they did well vs Bim today.

Leewards' Management please drop Oshane!
In reply to voiceofreason
Your thread ensure Oshane performs in semi...
The Jewel may be the difference in this game.
I cannot believe how hard he hits the ball
while making it look effortless.
In reply to voiceofreason
VOTreason--Drop the whole team. All dead weights. U making excuses already?
In reply to voiceofreason
Isn’t Oshane in Abu Dhabi, at the t10 tournament?
I notice he’s playing for the Chennai Braves Squad.
1st match has started today.
In reply to Discourse
I see Jewel Andrew on a roster there too.
In reply to JamMack
Yes, he's in the Samp Army Squad. Should be playing at 9:45 am today. Nyeem Young as well.
In reply to voiceofreason
I know the whole MB knows that Oshane triggers me...
and I feel bad about it..cause I do not like being hard on players...but Oshane...has not improved...and I was hoping he would but this is about 3 years now.
raw pace means diddly without control and outsmarting the batsman.
i done...
In reply to voiceofreason
Oshane and Jewel are in the LI team today. It appears they opted to remain in the islands to complete their stints.
Good on them…respect.
Last I checked
JS 12/1 (2.3 ov)
In reply to Discourse
Who got the wicket, OT?
VOR is "slickly" (even SICKLYperhaps) the most insular, parochial member of this board. This is not simply about Oshane bowling shoite.
In reply to Brerzerk
Boss Oshane bowling crap all the time wtf that have to do with me being insular? You want me to support incompetence? Well he must have gotten my memo as he has 4 overs 0/13.
68/1 after 11. Need to pull this back!
69/1 after 12. Good first over by Jimbo!
In reply to buds
Hey Buddy most of the other players are inexperienced. But your boy Oshame has been around long enough and should be doing better. We got to the finals last year and that was no fluke.
In reply to voiceofreason
Jamaica Scorpions 80 for 1 - so far.
86/1 after 15.
Campbell 45* off 49.
Mckenzie 33* off 33.
For, which other under-performer have you called to be dropped??? Not holding my breath
In reply to voiceofreason
100 for 1 - off 17 overs.
In reply to Brerzerk
I have called for Cornwall to relinquish the captaincy. The senior players like Hamiltton, Louis and Walsh have all held their own. Otherwise the rest of the squad is inexperienced. Oshane is the regional franchise player so a lot more is expected of him which he has failed to deliver!
In reply to voiceofreason
One would think that you would be happy to have OT to blame whenever there is teamwide underperformance.
In reply to voiceofreason
John Campbell out for 77.
In reply to Drapsey
Things tight. Right now he fighting with Cornwall for food. We cannot afford that.
138/5 ! A mini Scorpion slide!
In reply to Drapsey
Sorry, missed this. The first wkt went to Gore.
Looks like the Big off-spinner and Walsh doing some serious damage now.
JS 138/7 (24 ov)
162/7.
214/7 after 32.
Scorpions stinging the hurricanes who is this fellow royal?
225/7 after 34.
Good recovery here by Royal in particular 66* off 28.
WOW! 262/7 After 40.
269/8 als Walsh strikes big knock by Royal 73 off 42.
In reply to voiceofreason
As of the 45th over, Thomas has the best economy rate of all the Hurricane bowlers on show so far.
In reply to Yardman_83
And you can thank VOR for that.
In reply to Yardman_83
How many wickets he has?? Is he not a strike bowler?
In reply to voiceofreason
Well, if you not taking wickets, at least you can be economical. How many wickets has Louis taken? And he has been way less economical.
In reply to Yardman_83
He use to say the exact opposite when Sammy wasn't taking wkts or not hiding. SMDH!
In reply to Yardman_83
He only bowled 1 over!
Oshane has bowled his full compliment of overs and is now 6/ over with no wickets!
Oshane cannot bowl, cannot field and cannot bat! Simple as that! Leewards can do better. Jair Mcallister is a better pick.
Yardies peaking at the right time, can win it all this year.
Outrageous recovery, with plenty drop catches but undoubtedly irrelevant.
Well done young man. Congrats for that century under pressure
In reply to Discourse
How many dropped catches? Not watching.
Unbelievable recovery! Its not over yet!
In reply to voiceofreason
He now has one .
In reply to voiceofreason
OT dropped 3 unassisted.
If the Yardies believe Oshane is so great I wonder why did they let him go?
In reply to Drapsey
Oh shoots I forgot can't catch a cold!
In reply to Yardman_83
Ok Yard Man 10 overs 1/ 56 . Take back the match winner.
In reply to voiceofreason
will think about it for next season
In reply to voiceofreason
Not the centurion Glenn in particular, but surely in excess of 5 for JS innings. Terrible from the Hurricanes.
Imposing score
I like how Jamaica rotated the Left handers and Right Handers throughout until you had the last 4 bowlers who were right handers.
1. LHB Campbell 77
2. RHB Brown 1
3. LHB McKenzie 48
4. RHB Blackwood 0
5. LHB Glenn 114*
6. RHB Barnes 4
7. LHB Morris 0
8. RHB Salmon 0
9. RHB Royal 73
10.RHB Bryan 11
11.RHB Mindley 5*
Extras 19
Total from 50 overs: 352/9
Cornwall was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets and the only one with the stamina to bowl his full quota
baby Walsh got 3 wickets but went for 78 runs
LWI needs Cornwall to do a mic drop performance with the bat tonight else they might as well head to Piarco.
We have to give credit to VOR though for picking his scapegoat early.
The match didn't even start yet when he jumped all over OT.
In reply to Prako
Didnt Thomas bowl his quota too?
In reply to Prako
Don't forget Jewel Andrew and Jahmar. Chesney needs to step up though with only one 50 all season.
In reply to Yardman_83
Hey Yardman how many catches did OT drop?
Oh a disastrous start! Kadeem Henry runout by Blackwood! Leewards 2/1. Heading home to watch the rest of this disaster.
In reply to voiceofreason
I am following on windiescricket.com so I am unsure about the catches.
353 is naaaaaaaf runs... but this fella James...he seems quite prepared to make as many of them as he can.
In reply to voiceofreason
Stop your crap, thier isn't a single Yardie saying a damned that Oshane playground cricket. That doesn't mean big patt of your'riding' him isn't insularity. That's a weak attempt at distraction
In reply to Brerzerk
Dude what is your issue? You just admitted that Oshane is crap so you want us to accommodate him still? Management of Leewards need to do better as we can get better picks than Oshane.
Chesney Hughes is crap and he needs to go too! Happy?
Just reach home to see Jewel bat and then he out!
66666 Kofi!
137/4 after 19.
181/6 in 24.3 overs.
In reply to voiceofreason
What took you so long....
In reply to Drapsey
213/6 in 29.1 overs.
In reply to Brerzerk This is Chesney's first LIST A season in 5-6 years. Dude we conceded 352 after having the opposition 138/7, you cannot blame the batting for that but Chesney has been a disappointment all season!
Anyways dis no done yet! 6666! One thing about Leewards we not going to die wondering!
50 up for Jahmar! My fave Wkpr bat! Lot of work to be done!
Leewards has really impressed...this NEVER SAY DIE approach...
This is naaaaf runs and they are doing all the basics as a TEAM correctly.
Even if they get bowled out they have remained competitive and are still in with a chance.
Happy to see Yardies pushing too.
This is a good match.
44444 Hammie! 229/6 after 31.
Only 3 off that Mindley over with some tantalisingly near chances. 232/6 AFTER 32.
444444444444! Walshie nice reverse sweep!
Hammie gone! Could be the match! Mindley with the big strike! Jahmar tried to work this on to the onside but the ball kept low and bowled him!
In reply to voiceofreason
Mindley! 241/7 off 33.4 overs. Hamilton gone for 58.
In reply to voiceofreason
Don't worry VOR, we have batting all the way down to #11.
Mindley's return leads to 1-2-3 strikes! Mindley for Oshane lol.
In reply to Yardman_83
Walsh, Jr. gone as well? Windiecricket saying 241/8. Walsh. Jr. bowled by Mindley for 31.
In reply to Drapsey
Give us Mindley for Oshame and we good. At this stage I would even take Odean over Oshame.
In reply to voiceofreason
Oshane gonna save the match for the Hurricanes! Look out for some hits from Oshane!
:pride and the scorpions in the final
In reply to voiceofreason
Mindleys line and length were excellent...and the wickets are well deserved
Congrats to the Scorpions! Deserved finalists as Leewards clearly lost an opportunity too seal this game at 138/7. Missing some key players in our batting lineup but no excuses as Jamaica has been consistently good.
In reply to powen001
I think he is worth a look into ODIS. Very sensible bowler.
In reply to Yardman_83
Man can't bowl, can't bat, can't catch a cold. I maintain Leeward Management have to do better with their selections!
In reply to voiceofreason
Well...I will support you there...Mindley is a far superior bowler to Oshane...
In reply to voiceofreason
Look, OT with a not out!
ILL Confess...Leewards I was pretty sure would over haul that score based on the approach...UNTIL Mindley
allyuh think Cornwall sounds like Clive Lloyd too?
or just me?
Drop 7 catches? WTF ! Have to review the tape!
In reply to voiceofreason
I didnt realize either...7 is a LOT!!
In reply to Drapsey
Actually Oshame got a Duck. Goes well with his 3 dropped catches !
In reply to voiceofreason
The LI team have too many dead weights on the team every season. Get rid of JH and others. How long have JH been playing FCC now? Since I was a kid. NO improvement.
In reply to buds
Bro you do realise he was the 2nd highest scorer 58 and got a 96* earlier this season? He scored 214 runs at an ave of 42.80 and you want to drop who?He is also Jahmar is the heartbeat of our team, no bro you don't mess with out chemistry.
Once we lost Greaves, Carty, Louis and of course the best Captain for me Aljo to international cricket we were always going to struggle with an inexperienced batting team. We did well to get this far.
Still does not explain away the fact that we had Jamaica 1387 and they made 352 after 7 dropped catches.
In reply to voiceofreason
Scorpions by 106.
In reply to Yadi
Leewards 245 all out in 35.4 in reply to 352/9 from the Scorpions.
Kofi James 79* off 64.
Hamilton 58* off 47.
Mindley 8.4 overs 4/46.
Royal 8 overs 2/37.
Barnes 8 overs 2/65
In reply to voiceofreason
I was just 'pulling your leg' when I said that OT dropped 3 catches. I'm not sure if he dropped any.
