This is real Big Man cricket. Terrific bowling on a helpful pitch.
It is good to see batsmen being tested to the full.
This is Test cricket..bowlers must also have their due.

I picked India to win this series too as Australia's batting has some
weaknesses that the India attack is capable of exposing with both top line
pacers and spin variety.
I am enjoying this match so far.My two favourite sides in a real battle.

I guess Hazelwood was bowling too slow for weerat.

The way things are going, this Test isn't going to last very long. We have two world-class bowling attacks going at it on a pitch with a good amount of help. You don't want to miss any of it.

Record breaking first day here in Perth. As many as 17 wickets fell, which is the most number of wickets on the first day in Australia since 1952. All of those 17 wickets fell to seamers who feasted on a spicy pitch at the Perth Stadium.

"I think it was a fair bit of good bowling today. Obviously there was enough in the wicket. Probably felt it was a hard ball wicket. When the ball started to get a little bit softer towards the back end of that Indian innings it didn't do as much but still was enough there but didn't as much as the brand new hard ball. I guess it's something for teams to take in the second innings. If you can get through the testing period it does get slightly easier. That being said the outfield is quite slow and that probably made the runs a bit hard to come by and probably the slowest outfield we have seen in the West (Australia) for a long time," Starc added.


"Not a whole lot. I don't think... It might have been a bit more sideways movement.. again.. it's just my memory.. I couldn't tell you to be honest. I don't know if they were very different wickets to all the Test matches," Starc replied.
