the past plus the present equals the future

Altho it is arguable that there are all happening at the same time

Apart from Elon Musk, an African American is yet to make the list.

I was confident that he was going to re-hire the lisp-tongued Dr. Jerome Adams as his Surgeon General, but he has disappointed me.

‘As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart’s desire at last, and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moron.”

Are we there yet? Came across a 1920 quote from a US journalist.

I don’t know which journalist plagiarize that, but Plato said it hundreds of years ago. lol

Don't know the Plato's quote but doubt he referenced the White House before the US was founded! H.L Mencken from a Baltimore publication.

Of course, my brother he couldn’t but the essence of the quote comes from Plato. It’s like the movie West side story an updated version of Shakespeare’s.
All good my friend.

That's a H.L. Mencken quote a US journalist essayist from the 1920's. I used said quote on here a few times but have been ignored. But I have wondered how that quote have not popped up in the media since Trump entered the political fray and I think the reason is, and I have no proof but just from reading some of his other stuff.... H.L. Mencken may have been a racist and nobody is going to quote a known racist from the 1920's. GOP not going to use it as its not very flattering to Trump and the others not going to use it as its from a racist. However one can't help but notice how this just perfectly sums up Trump and his MAGA movement.
