SEX TRAFFICING REPORT :OUR CARICOM MEDIA HAS FAILLED OUR PEOPLE

The 2022 Annual Report on Human Trafficking was published. The report focused on the Venezuelan crisis- 30% of their people have fled to many countries and from that number close to 175,00 have fled to Trinidad where they have created mayhem.

The TT Express wrote an Editorial- so this was no young recent graduate writing a report. The Editorial started thus:

Word for word they uncritically copied US Govt narrative on Venezuela without an even remote acknowledgment of the real reason for the crisis.

That the elite "pure bred" 3% Venezuelans of non mixed Spaniard decent- White Venezuelans- controlled 99% of the wealth for over 100 years, and when Chavez took people's power and he tried to spread people social and economic justice, the elite with the help of the USA and Western Europe decided on a crash and burn of the country.

The elite got their hundreds of billions- estimated at close to $1 trillions into the US, Europe and other friendly places.

US meddling in Venezuela during the last 60 years to keep the elite oil industrialist in power is the root cause of this problem. The masses lived in abject poverty, including the indigenous or real Venezuelans who have been displaced by the Spaniard invasion and ethnic cleansing for 500 years.
