West Indies won the series 2-0.....

Mayers became overnight sensational....Bonner was held as new middle order solution.... Braithwaite, captain courageous........All positive & great for any fan...

But...

Kick out Bravo, kick out Holder, ...trended ...

Cut to 2024...

Bangladesh in West indies.....

Greaves scores century....only with the important contribution of Roach with bat....Roach bowls 15 overs, takes 1/30....

But..

Kick out Roach, kick out Holder...

These posters are more interested in their agenda but claims to be at pain.... to see West Indies cricket dismal condition....

Why this haste to kick out experienced performers.....for newbies with single performance...

Why can't experienced & newbies play together.... newbies learn from experienced players....

Had Kohli been West Indies cricket.....he would have been long kicked out....

Or

Contrarily, West Indies cannot produce quality players because of extreme Hatred and Kick Out .....

If it’s Jason Holder you referring to, nobody kicked him out.

Since no longer WI captain, Jason Holder doesn’t play against Bangladesh

He has come up with an excuse for every series when WI is scheduled to play them either home or away

1 was he was scared to tour Bangladesh due to Covid (the Kyle Mayers debut series)

Then he got a leave of absence from CWI for a home series because he was “tired”

He gets to pick and choose who he plays against.

That’s just how it is.

I am not specifically speaking about individual players.....but in general.....

When Mayers & Bonner break into the scene...
All the posters wanted.....kick out Bravo...

Now, just after 4 years....both Mayers & Bonner falter to deceive in test.....if talks goes accordingly, Bravo may play regional and up for Pakistan tour....

As far as Holder, He was no.1 ..all rounder for 2022, well after his removal from captaincy....he was out of form as well as injured.....last two years, bowling & batting going through very lean patch.....but batted admirably against South Africa....bowling well below par....this has happened to the best..... Will be back for Pakistan tour..

My question...
Why both Greaves & Holder.....both Bravo & Athanaze, Louis....Roach & Shamar,Sealed ..co- exist.....this will help newbies and in turn, would uplift West Indies.....

Roach is already working as mentor to youngsters...

That is your opinion......one may agree or not....but in this match itself Roach has not done bad....both with bat and ball.....his invaluable 47 help both Greaves to score century and West Indies to rattle up 450, after being 230/7..... with ball, he was better than others...

Infact,
Greaves 100 & 2 wickets
Roach 47& 1 wicket...
is one of the reason, why West Indies in driving seat..
With 2nd inning coming, pitch spinning, it would be interesting how West Indies batter& bowlers perform...

Preach bro.

People here forgot the CWI gave the players the option not to tour Bangladesh
because the health experts stated that the tour should be cancelled due to health concerns.
Yet they were punished despite the promise not to by CWI.
Holder especially with the loss of the captaincy
Bangladesh loss their best player due to injuries and loss the series.

I remember Windies players striking and CWI (WICBC) using replacements.
World Series Cricket (Lloyd's team and Packer series)
Lara's team to RSA
Floyd Reifer replacement squad.
Shiv Paul cappo a replacement squad.

In all those series, the real players were re-selected when available.
In case of Lara's squad, a replacement squad was not used, as they settled early.

Yet the IDIOTS kept out the premier players from the Bangladesh (Covid) tour.
Braffit was about to be dropped.
Bonner was not in the picture.
Mayers was not in the picture.
Mohammed was not in the picture (ODI) but maintained his place despite consistently poor.

Holder etal should be discarded, the team cannot gel into any consistency with players, picking and choosing which series, or which team they play against, the loyalty, should take precedence.

Windies have to find a way to get the best players into all-format or duel-format.

That mean missing some series to play T20 Tournaments.
Missing series to manage workloads.
And managing players to give them mental breaks.

Hindia, Hingland and Ozz doe it and no-one here seems to see it.

Windies is very much smaller than those and have very little good players to choose from.

All this stupid talk about picking and choosing series is myopic.
Small-minded people show their small-minded characters.

Onion, in 2011 when The CWI press release stated (paraphrased) “With an eye to the future Gayle, Chanderpaul and Sarwan have been dropped” what did you say? NB someb8yrs thereafter Gayle played in a WC and was in the top 3 if not WI top run-getter.

After watching that spectacular caught and bowl by the old man i feel its time for Dave Rudder to release a new version of hs rallying song. Lord knows he has multiple sources of inspiration in his home country

West Indies is not a country but a brand a poor brand only rich with past legacy. A history many now playing were not around to see …there lies the problem
