Not surprised by Jordan and Chase. Has Chase ver played IPL? I see Moen Ali and Bairstow were also unsold. I was surprised that Shai Hope and Mustafizur were unsold though.

I also see that Alzharri Joseph, Kyle Mayers and Brandon King were unsold.

Only surprising name there is Alzarri.
But Indian cricket have a thing about fraiding attitudes.

There are many alternatives to Shai Hope in the IPL.

Carey and Mujeeb were also surprises for me

Alzharri is a runs truck in the IPL and for the West Indies. The difference is that he takes wickets for us while leaking runs in T20Is. In the IPL he leaks runs without producing the same in terms of wickets. So I’m not surprised by him going unsold.

the ipl does just pelt out money plenty times. some of their buys literally go against every sort of logic. Gudakesh mootie and akeal hosein are the 3rd and fifth best spinners in t20s and not one could get a look in an ipl side. glenn maxwell has had two good ipl seasons in his entire career and averaged just under 6 last season in 10 appearances got scooped up by punjab again....punjab and maxwell enjoy an abusive relationship it seems. maxwell has only scored 6 50s in 62 innings for Punjab and even the indian commentators were surprised he got nabbed by any team. another example, tymall mills went for 1.4 million pounds and did absolutely nothing in hid debut and only ipl season so far.
