In reply to XDFIX
Probably

If I were Imran I would seek freedom outside Pakistan

He should try Guyana - whenever Pakistan played at Bourda you would have thought Pakistan were playing at home.
On the other hand, Modi might tell him no.

More than likely, he would head for the Gulf region, but the Guyana idea is interesting. Hopefully, he can get Jeremy's
endorsement!
Many of the diaspora, although they came before partitioning they have somewhat ‘evolved’ into the anti-Muslim anti-Pakistani cabal, maybe in an effort be more ‘Indian’? Hope that’s not an unfair assessment as it’s based on what I have seen and heard in the past 10 or 15 years or so.
Gone are the days of just supporting any brown team. Happy to be corrected on this one if I am mistaken.

well with Pakistan that was every west indian's second favorite team, regardless of ethnicity. Its not by chance that Usain used to support Pakistan as a youngster. They were an exciting side and up until 1990, the only team capable of beating the WI during the golden era, at least for a decade of that 15 year stretch. zaheer abbas, javed miandad, imran khan niazi, wasim, waqar, wasim raja, abdul qadir.....almost as much star power as a WI side at full tilt. honestly though, imran didn't have his relatives in his ear telling him leadership in Pakistan was a poisoned chalice? zulfiqur ali bhutto got executed, zia ul haq died in a very suspicious plane crash and benazir got shot. why do this to yourself
