The Guyanese government was talking about a world club Championship since last year cpl along the lines of the Champions league……the champions league after its first season wasn’t a very popular tournament and eventually folded in 2014. Somebody should have done some marketing analysis to see whether the project was feasible

This is not so much about the cricket but more of a marketing strategy. If you are looking at the live commentary you will see what aspects of the country they are focusing on?

The major problem is a lack of stars and teams that fans can support and identify with. This tournament is doomed to failure, unfortunately.
