Over the period of his spell, yes. Quicker than just about anybody around today. However, the fastest ball of the match so far was bowled by Shamar Joseph, who hit over 152ks (95mph)

Once you get up around the 140kph and above range consistently, batsmen have a totally different issue to focus on. Great to see Nahid coming through, he is a breath of fresh air for Bangladesh and indeed, the world game. His first spell yesterday was the best I have seen him bowl, he usually sprays it around a bit but bowled with better control early on. Pace like fire...for me, in the game of cricket, there is no spectacle like it.

Tbh I couldn’t agree more

I fell in love with cricket in the mid 70’s with Lillee & Thomson and then of course varying quartets of the West Indies pace attack… I was very, very lucky to be able to watch a lot of live cricket in those days mostly at Lords & The Oval.

Don’t get me wrong, watching a really high quality spinner at work particularly one that really spins the ball is also fantastic to watch

A quality very fast bowler v a world class batsman in ‘even’ conditions is as good as it gets

Yes, a class batsman in full flow, such as Lara foe example, simply a joy to behold...a spinner, Warne, Murali etc...the same, really admirable skill on show...but a battle between Walsh / Atherton, Ambrose / Waugh, Richards / Lillee...just the best spectacle in the sport for me. I was also fortunate to see Walsh, Bishop, Ambrose, Holding and even the ultimate speed man, Patrick Patterson at his peak...nothing like it, I can tell you. His slower ball was probably 95mph lol

I would love to have seen Patto live in that 85 series.

Sylvester Clarke … when in the mood (he certainly wasn’t always) was truly a sight to behold

Nahid Rana to Shamar Joseph, no run, my word! Shamar Joseph has been hit hard on the helmet. But he is fine. Umpire Kumar Dharmasena immediately calls for the concussion test. Bang on the grille. Dug in short and the ball follows Shamar who is backing away outside the leg-stump, he pulls and misses, the grille takes a pounding
lol
