Very sad for the country, he broke his pledge but more importantly, he has now created the path for Trump to pardon his children, himself and all the crooks that Biden and the democrats spend years decrying.

The politicians in both side are now winners- the people were told about how dangerous Trump is to us, now it is Biden, who is mainly responsible for Trump winning back power, is the one.

Trump will be the happiest man, Biden last gift to him.

The same Biden that has refused to accept his granddaughter, now he pardon his son who fathered that little girl.

The perfection and perspicuity that you are looking for or claim you are looking does not exist and have never existed in any political milieu…. Not in The monarchy of ancient Egypt, or Autocratic Rule of The Roman Empire, especially during the reigns of certain emperors…..technology changes, human…..not much ----- so don’t blame every exigency on liberals, democrats --- we live in the real world --- and as some say – the more things change the more they stay the same

Kamala was running as a change agent ---- the majority says, - hell no - 'give me back that ole time religion'

When people select Lauren Boebert, and Marjorie Taylor Green as their congressional representative, you really think that a sign human evolution/progress?

Because that path didn't exist before Biden did it?

You know you don't always have to post. Sometimes you can walk away from the keyboard. Will reduce the rubbish.

If you didn't pardon your own son what kind of father would you be?

I think so, but the point is this, Biden isn't and never was a different politician, he may looked clean when juxtaposed against Trump, but his record and legacy must never be sanitized because Trump is so horrible.

Hunter did commit crimes- even democrat agreed on that- his mistake was that it would be covered up.

The only people who don't get pardon is the small man- and that is the point.

Look, it is amazing to see the number of people rallying for Biden and Hunter as if they are some poor working class powerless duds.

VIX 2024-12-02 13:23:47

Well there goes his chances of reelection.

Dis done!!

camos 2024-12-02 13:23:51

In reply to Emir

Trinis find all sort of reasons to support Jack Warner, his crimes are bigger than Hunter charges!

Emir 2024-12-02 13:37:13

Even the elitist White Liberals Zionist at the NYT is finding this hard to digest:

But Mr. Biden’s pardon will make it harder for Democrats to defend the integrity of the Justice Department and stand against Mr. Trump’s unapologetic plans to use it for political purposes even as he seeks to install Kash Patel, an adviser who has vowed to “come after” the president-elect’s enemies, as the next director of the F.B.I. It will also be harder for Democrats to criticize Mr. Trump for his prolific use of the pardon power to absolve friends and allies, some of whom could have been witnesses against him in previous investigations.

Thus, I say Biden last gift to Trump. His first was when his AG drag his feet in the Trump investigation, which gave Trump the time needed to drag the process up to the election and the rest is now history.

Emir 2024-12-02 13:38:34

No different from Trump: In fact, Biden now makes Trump look normal.

The pardon and Mr. Biden’s stated rationale for granting it will inevitably muddy the political waters as Mr. Trump prepares to take office with plans to use the Justice Department and F.B.I. to pursue “retribution” against his political adversaries. Mr. Trump has long argued that the justice system has been “weaponized” against him and that he is the victim of selective prosecution, much the way Mr. Biden has now said his son was.

StumpCam 2024-12-02 13:42:21

In reply to camos

I don’t understand all the gnashing of teeth over Hunter pardon! This is par for the course for any POTUS. The fact that he is the President’s son should be less surprising.

Emir 2024-12-02 13:42:56

While as a father I certainly understand President @JoeBiden’s natural desire to help his son by pardoning him, I am disappointed that he put his family ahead of the country,” Gov. Jared Polis of Colorado, a Democrat, wrote on social media. “This is a bad precedent that could be abused by later presidents and will sadly tarnish his reputation.

Representative Greg Stanton, Democrat of Arizona, disputed the president’s argument that politics was behind his son’s prosecution. “I respect President Biden, but I think he got this one wrong,” he said online. “This wasn’t a politically-motivated prosecution. Hunter committed felonies, and was convicted by a jury of his peers.”

Emir 2024-12-02 13:44:37

The pardon Mr. Biden issued to his son specifically covers any offenses “which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from Jan. 1, 2014, through Dec. 1, 2024,” not just the tax and gun charges. That will protect Hunter Biden from any further investigation that Mr. Trump could have ordered the Justice Department or Mr. Patel’s F.B.I. to conduct once taking office.

So the charges of child abandonment, failure to pay child support- all pardoned!!!!!

The average guy in the street would have had his salary garnished and in severe cases arrested for failure to pay child support.

Emir 2024-12-02 13:46:50

Biden has now removed any moral obstacles so Trump can now pardon the Jan 6 terrorists.

Even some supporters of Mr. Biden said his decision opened the door for Mr. Trump to further warp the system by pointing to his predecessor’s own words and actions. Former Representative Joe Walsh, a leading anti-Trump Republican from Illinois who endorsed Mr. Biden for president, said the pardon was “deflating.”

“This just furthers the cynicism that people have about politics,” he said on MSNBC, “and that cynicism strengthens Trump because Trump can just say: ‘I’m not a unique threat. Everybody does this. If I do something for my kid, my son-in-law, look, Joe Biden does the same thing.’ I get it, but this was a selfish move by Biden which politically only strengthens Trump.”

dayne 2024-12-02 13:52:40

American politics is mostly about the privileged, it should not be taken seriously but it affects so many things it has to be taken seriously

Good item you referenced here Emir. I think Stanton got this one right.

sudden 2024-12-02 15:27:17

WTF am I hearing? Because Biden pardon his son this will give Trump license to pardon the Jan 6 convicts?

Didn’t Trump campaign on the promise that he will pardon the Jan 6 patriots? The things convict Trump has said and done. Look at his cabinet picks and those he chose as ambassadors e.g. Kirshner (the father of his son in law) whom he pardoned during his first term. Some of unnuh on here just like to flap unnuh gums

It seems like the Dems are suppose to uphold the laws and political decency and if they don’t they are called hypocrites whilst the Repubs could do as they like and are called Alpha males and rewarded

Best thing Biden ever did. He should now say that he has evidence that the election was stolen and until he gets to the bottom of it, Trump’s ascension to the presidency is suspended or he should incite a crowd of patriots to attack the capitol

And why should the common people support this when thousands of poor innocent men and women sit in jail and no papa to bail them our or pardon them?

We can hate Trump for all that he has done and for all that he say he will do and I hope one day he face jail, but at the same time, we cannot make Biden look good, support him only because Trump is bad.

Look, Hunter committed lots of fraud and only because he was who he was did not think he will get caught and we don't have to compare the two.

VIX 2024-12-03 13:40:06

so let me get this straight.

Sleepy Joe began his presidency denying that Hunter's laptop even existed.
The misfits clapped, bawled in glee. WIned hard on each other. Echo-chamber groaned in orgasmic frenzy. Fake news. Russian plot etc.

Now Jokey Joe is pardoning Hunter for crimes he committed which said laptop helped uncover??
What going on in the echo-chamber now? Has the delusion ended? Is rational thought now possible for the misfits?

Or is the cult of one-sided misinformation still all-powerful??

Why support Biden's pardon and condemn Trump's?

See, we cannot be pawns to these powerful politicians- the way some people are supporting Biden, it is as if he is a powerless man who have been persecuted.

Look, Hunter was corrupt, he is not innocent.

We can hate Trump and also criticize Biden at the same time.

I think people's dislike or hatred for Trump- and I dislike him passionately- is clouding their judgement with respect to Biden.

They are in essence saying that Biden can do no wrong because Trump has done so many wrongs that it somehow negates Biden sins.

I find that sad. Some are even making it personal as if Biden is family.

I have never seen anything like it before.

I can see why you conclude that way, but it is not.

I warned of the social issues the liberal white elitist media pushed down the throats of many regular democrats people, such as
an overkill of LGBTQ agenda
The fear of Euro Americans- they fear about their majority status, and the white elitist media support of open borders fed their narrative.

As for Biden's pardon- he has strongest allies are against him, they are now seeing him on par with Trump. As president, you duties cannot be influenced by family agenda- he is the first ever to pull this scam and no one can now criticize Trump for doing the same, he has normalize Trump.

Hunter has committed crimes, even if the investigation was driven by politics.

Let me educate you.

Clinton pardoned his half brother post haste: The man had already served his full term in prison for drug possession- ganja. And the pardon was ceremonial years after he served his time.

It is very different. All of the Democrats experts have made this point. What Biden did is the first in the nation's history- according to experts who are also Democrats.

Its ok to support Biden, but you are acting as if he a powerless persecuted man and as if he is your family.

Hunter Biden Was Unfairly Prosecuted

Critics have argued that President Joe Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter was political nepotism—bad for the country, selfish, the height of privilege. But the actual story is the very opposite of nepotism: Hunter Biden was treated worse than an ordinary citizen because of his family connections. It’s good for the country when the president acts against injustice; President Biden rightly condemned the injustice of his son’s prosecution. His pardon was necessary to prevent Donald Trump’s Justice Department from targeting Hunter for years to come.

Rubber stamped.

Drapsey 2024-12-12 16:25:07

Even more on the Hunter Biden accusations.

FBI informant accused of lying about Joe and Hunter Biden pleads guilty

An FBI informant accused of lying about the Biden family has cut a plea deal with special counsel David Weiss, the prosecutor who led the criminal probe into Hunter Biden.

Alexander Smirnov is set to plead guilty to four charges, including tax evasion and obstructing justice by providing false information to the FBI, according to a court filing in California on Thursday.

You did good President Biden in 'pardoning' your son.

Drapsey 2024-12-13 11:25:14

And while President Biden's son, Hunter, took it upon himself to engage in petty stuff like drugs consumption, President Trump's son, Donald Jr. has taken his online Arms dealership public on Wall Street. This underscores the fact that the latter's upbringing is far classier that the former.

Donald Trump Jr. and MAGA financier Omeed Malik team up to take online firearms seller public

Trump, who also joined 1789 Capital in November, will become a special advisor to the company, which sells firearms and accessories online.

“The gun space has been one of the spaces most attacked by woke corporate America,” Trump told The Post — but adds their support for GrabAGun couldn’t come at a better time. “People are more concerned for their security than ever.”

As proudly reported by The New York Post.
