After Ist test...
Greaves the Messiah....
2nd test ongoing
Seales the Messiah..

Just few series back..
West Indies doesn't have bowlers of International calibre....
Less said about batters..

This oscillation of posters from one extreme to another...shows the effect of battering West Indies cricket has taken, since 1995 and it's effect....

Coming back to the ongoing series... it's between two lowest ranked test playing teams....

The Bangladesh side is totally in turmoil since India series.....coach changed, experience players ousted due to non- playing reasons.... political interference in country....

As far as batting and bowling is concerned, it still very weak....
Appointment of Roach as playing- mentor and its effect is the biggest take from this series...
As player he performed with bat- ball in 1st test
Having great impact on youngster.....
All bowlers showing improvement...

As far as Greaves...he earned his place...performed but still has long ways to go...

Seales...he is swing condition bowler...but with his age & height, his pace of 130-135 k.m. is very disappointment....

Euphoria dies a natural death specially in test cricket.....
Look a Kylie Mayers... double century on debut...5- fer in test to win test.... wrist of steel....

Can't bowl in non- swing conditions...
Can't bat, if pitch not placid...

SO EXTREMELY OSCILLATING POSTERS... HOLD ON!!

Ah come on,
Very unfair on Seales and as for Myers, his move to T20 for financial reasons, I presume, destroyed him.

a little rough but not entirely wrong. Once we put into perspective that this is a bottom of table clash and the two at the bottom are several levels below even those in the mid table, we can just enjoy that we are probably just the second worst rather than the worst team in test cricket. Carpe diem

So seales was not bowling well in test cricket before this series?neither did s joseph?and nobody labelled greaves a messiah but some labelled carty ,athanaze and louis as such before they even stepped into test cricket on this board.and those same people here shut up real quick now

Seales may not be our quickest bowler but in my view, right now he is our best bowler.

Just see the last few series stats of Seales.....his opening spell went for over 8 runs per over ...both in England and against South Africa.... although he came back and took few wickets but by then match already out of reach.....

Both the series were played in bowling conditions....

It would be interesting to see him perform in Pakistan....if he can take wickets cheaply or keep one end tight..... Pakistan conditions usually help fast bowlers on first morning.... otherwise spinners...

A bowler with speed of 130-135km......can be successful in given condition but not in every conditions..

England realises this......let go Eallam, Tudor,Hollioke et al... replace them with Hamison, Jones,Broad,.....which totally changed the English fortune in test cricket....

Let us not forget the world's most successful fast bowler, James Anderson, relied on swing and wasn't express pace.

Jayden Seales has had an impressive but short career to this point.

Something tells me he is still learning his craft and hasn't reached his peak as yet.

The young man is like an old bottle of wine, he keeps getting better.
